Can PIVX follow DASH?

Hey everyone.

Currently i am planning my long term investments(1-2 years).
I have some top-20 coins: BTC, ZEC, DASH, ETC. Also i want to add some low marketcap coins and considering to add pivx to my portfolio. It's DASH clone with masternodes/staking + implementation of ZCash protocol, their twitter/site/github looks pretty good. For me it looks like instabuy, BUT price is pretty low for a period and seems like i miss something important.

Any thoughts is it a good buy or not for long term?

Lol hard for Pivx can catch up Dash, Pivx need more devolop on their product to push the price up like Dash.

First mover advantage and not offering something too different will make it very very hard.

Why should someone move from dash to pivx?

It seems quite stable...but i don't see it in the 100$ range soon

The circulating supply of DASH is 7,721,361.

The circulating supply of PIVX is 55,033,304.

It means pivx supply is 8 times the dash supply.

Furthermore, the marketcap of pivx is 219,079,328 USD.

If it goes 8x to 10x, it means the new marketcap will be almost 1600,000,000 or more.

That means it has to reach the top 14 marketcap coins as of now which is quite impractical considering such a jump.

So I don't think so that it will make such a big move in an year or so.

But it can be 2x or more in a year of the current price.

PIVX is one of those altcoins with a lot of potential to rise, it is also a good coin which doesn't have the Dash premine scam either.

but there are also issues that will make it much harder for it to reach the price of Dash. for example it is not yet listed on Poloniex and we know well  that Poloniex is the main source of pumped coins, any coin that goes there gets pumped hard and Dash is there.
the other thing that i can think of is the circulating supply which PIVX has 55 million but Dash has 7.7 million both according to coinmarketcap.com and that makes it even harder for any coin to rise much.

Pivx is a very nice investment opportunity in the long But I do not know if it will be as successful as dash

Dash is too far away for PIVX to catch up to. but it is not impossible for it to get there. this coin is on the rise and each pump that it has brings it up a little more and stays up. it may take a long time and a lot of pump to reach Dash levels though.

if you are looking for an investment, then make sure to buy in the dips and preferably sell when there i a major pump to buy back in its dip again. that way you both reduce the risks you are taking and at the same time you make more profit.

It is always necessary to consider the number of coins circulating. Among the most interesting projects with a few coins 2'400.000..c'è Internet of people IOP that theoretically could do as Dash in 2 years

PIVX is very good choice for longterm investments,
but to reach dash i think its hard for PIVX

DASH is way ahead PIVX. I first heard about PIVX when i was just starting out and know that many people got rich by investing early. However, it is clear now that PIVX has been surpassed by a number coins that have better technology and more active development teams. Heck as far as I know DASH is listed on numerous big exchanges while PIVX exposure is limited. DASH is back by Apple and PIVX is what? Nothing.
