Multi-millionaire John McAfee has predicted that 1 BTC will reach $1,000,000 by the end of 2020. He’s so confident in fact, that he’s promised he will eat his own penis on live television if it doesn’t happen!

I suppose he expects people to forget about his prediction by then.  I'll be taking down a note and reminding him about his promise after he turns out to be incorrect (which is almost 100% likely).

That said, it might be hard to find a TV station which will want to show John McAfee doing that live based on some crazy prediction he made three years earlier.

When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017.

Oh, well if he has "a model" then he must be right. /s

John McAfee should stop acting like a complete idiot. He has been off with various predictions already, which isn't helping him gain any type of credibility. He's an eccentric character who loves to be in the middle of the spotlights, and looking at his behavior, he isn't particularly shy of expressing that to the outside world. I remember when back in the days the Winklevoss twins were predicting that the price would reach $100,000 before the block halving, and we all have seen how far off this prediction was. Looking at how fairly calm they are in current times, they probably learned their lesson and for that reason remain conservative with their predictions.

It's a crappy article and this author "Simon R." is definitely a bear who likes to make a big deal out of nothing.
His other article on the same page says "Chaos in Cryptoland as Bitcoin Crashes". Only a delusional moron or a troll would call this thing a crash. You can't expect a price not to correct after reaching new highs for a couple days straight. There's only so much you can pump and traders will have to take profit at some point.
