Hey Community,

I am on the verge of jumping of a roof. Can you help me with my problem. My wallet (https://btc-bitcore3.trezor.io/address/1L1UocRbQ1TtBLccbcV1NDeFzCRgwUbTXe) was on my mobile phone, an old Android phone. So I sended my btc to my new wallet a trezor wallet. So now I wanted to get the BCH. I just saw, that the transaction isnt confirmed yet, I hope it will or I kill myself lol. Sooo I updated to the newest version, because there were no secure/backup features on this version. Problem was, now the application wont run. I copied all Mobile Phone Data and deinstalled it and reinstalled it, of course I have a new wallet now. I dont know how I get to my old wallet, since I am not sure, if there even exists a backup.

PLEASE HELP ME!

I need to sleep now or something worse happens.....

I tried to install VM Workplace and install Ubuntu, but that didnt even work. I wanted to try to search it with their Linux tool.

The application: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet&hl=de
The only "recovery" I can think of: https://github.com/bitcoin-wallet/bitcoin-wallet/blob/master/wallet/README.recover.md
I fear the Google Playstore Account from which I downloaded the wallet is lost forever, so I dont know what to do..........

If you don't have any backup you can recover your wallet you should had seed phrase save from your computer or notepad  if you don't have any backup i think its impossible to recover your wallet there is no other way. but if you have the seed phrase you can easily recover it..
Better to find your seed phrase somewhere in your computer and maybe you save it its a 12 word phrase and you can recover it even in other wallet like electrum..

No seedphrase, it was just on the mobile phone. Now I am feeling uneasy. Don't you think there could be a hidden dataset from the app on the mobile phones memory?

What app have you used exactly if there were no passphrases?

If the BCH that I would have gotten are lost, okay I can live with it.

But will the transaction be successfull: https://btc-bitcore3.trezor.io/tx/56b59662a847e10000e5793affe34d2198ca0c7d8aedae941fa18ba6a0aba1a2

ALWAYS MAKE BACKUP!!!!

That fee is really low can't even put it here on free accelerator https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ (Your fee 0.00000676BTC needed at least  0.0001BTC)

Best I can advise you is to try to speed it up with https://pushtx.btc.com/#/ tho this is paid service, you need transaction to confirm before it gets out of the memory pool ("a place" where all unconfirmed transactions wait to be confirmed).which is the problem if it doesn't confirm in few days. Tho this can be a bit expensive around $237.27

This wallet is not advised specially because it lacks of features - it is okay since it connects directly to nodes but try to avoid it - I know late now but transaction is already sent. I am not sure if it keeps file on your phone will need to check it out, if i find something I will make new post here but not sure if it's possible having in mind that you have reinstalled it I doubt that there are any left overs --> maybe best would be to try to recover deleted files DON'T USE IT MUCH as more things you write on hard drive/disk the higher chance that you lost your file forever (if you want me I can advise you how you could do the recovery or simply go to the professional).

Best I could tell you is to try to contact some pool - be aware of FAKE ACCELERATORS out there, I am sure that this btc.com one that I linked is legit.

Huh?? What transaction are you looking at? Huh

OP said his transaction was this one: https://blockchain.info/tx/56b59662a847e10000e5793affe34d2198ca0c7d8aedae941fa18ba6a0aba1a2

Fee per byte 10.858 sat/B (or 0.00010858 BTC per kB)... which is above the 10sats/byte (or 0.0001 btc/KB) minimum specified by ViaBTC.

To the OP, recovery of your wallet without a backup file (and/or the seed) is pretty much impossible unless you can somehow make an image of the phones memory and try doing low level data recovery... not exactly a trivial exercise! Undecided

I've also accelerated your transaction using AntPool and ViaBTC... hopefully it'll confirm in the next few hours.

Also, due to the low fee, the transaction is likely to sit for a while given current network conditions (70,000+ unconfirmed transactions, recommended fees about 15-20x what you paid)... If you need to rebroadcast the transaction because it gets dropped, here is the raw hex... copy paste it to one of the transaction broadcast tools (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_broadcasting)

Ops meh was tired seems I messed up by looking to the second address sent which is 0.00000676 BTC not at the fee rate... thank god you pointed this out I could make him pay for something that could be free :x most probably I couldn't boost it with via since requests were full...

Thank you for update, will pay more attention next time!

Thank you both Manaman and HCP! At least the money of my friend is safe, what a relief. Pity that all bch etc. are not recoverable, but a stone is falling from my heart...  Smiley

Did you forget or lose your Spending PIN number in your Bitcoin Wallet app for Android. Here's how you might recover it using a Python App called btcrecover on your Windows PC (also available for Linux)
