it is good news for bitcoin user because we can buy McDonalds with bitcoin. but I think we need to adjust the bitcoin itself and especially for the fee and the confirmation of the transaction. we need to adjust the speed of confirmation so when people don't have to wait too long to get confirmed. I hope in the future, there will be much more store accepting bitcoin so bitcoin will be known globally.

Will the prices even be as dynamics as the trend of bitcoin's price? Surely it should change by the instant the price of bitcoin changes, or else this project or idea is actually meaningless and useless.

I think they will solve the issue with the Commission, it is unlikely You will be forced to overpay for meal twice. Either they'll take care of you, or it will be minimal don't worry. |

Hm...If i want just to buy a cheeseburger - i will additionaly pay ~3.5$ for fee...
It will be better if they accept LTC with high speed and low fees.

I hope that this will become true in 2018 and not just a rumor because if the mcdonalds will accept bitcoin by 2018 then it will just make the bitcoin more popular than before and the price of bitcoin will continue to go up also and it will become more unstoppable compare to the price and foundation of it right now.

In the first glance, the news sounds good. But Bitcoin is not suited to fast food chains as payment gateway. Bitcoin is so huge and slow. Mc Donalds might ask you to stay in the store while the Bitcoin confirmation is not yet visible in the blockchain. Other good and fast alternative is: LTC , DOGE, DASH . was thinking the same, "please give me 2 happy meals, 2 big mac and a coke" "That's 12$, how do you like to pay?" "Bitcoin please" "right, move to the side while we wait for the blockchain to process your payment, it will take between 2 minutes to 3 hours, please be patient" That's not practical especially in McDonalds shop, waiters must be fast for each order because there's usually, at the peak time, a long queue.. it will just not work 2,000 Minutes = 33.333333 Hours https://blockchain.info/charts/avg-confirmation-time |

I don't think this will happen because of the increasing value of Bitcoin no one will encourage to use this just for a McDonalds product and food.

For now any one starting bitcoin transactions are of any use to the users because of fees and the time it requires to transfer. Same news about amazon is also coming but i don't think that it will be successful until the fees and time is cut out . I hope in next year there is some technology which could reduce both fees and time. |

Personally I don't know,if the McDonald's will accept the Bitcoin by 2018,but in physically store or malls maybe it will happend someday,because somes meals they all need cash to basis operation no credit cards allowed,I hope also they will implement this kind of system so everybody will used the Bitcoin in the future

If mcdonalds accept bitcoin it is great news to people who bitcoin users and also always they dine in the fastfood. Also if this happen it easier to us to make transaction to them and less time. |

Legit? I personally disagree with that. What is the reason why they want to accept bitcoin as a payment? First of all does all bitcoin have taxes? Like the VAT? How? You need a lot of time to confirm if you are really the one whose going to buy those Mcdonald's burger and fries. It will take too long you'll just starve until they get it from your account. Yes it will be easier but isn't being paying by fiat money or credit cards are mire practical? Just saying..

It's seem ridiculous to me. Now i can order a big Mac and waiting for some hour of transaction and pay for more fee than the old day. The popularity of bitcoin is really good and i glad to see many shop accept bitcoin for payment but i think i should let it go to far. Beside, to sacrifice the conveniences of modern life, bitcoin and exchanging website need to improve the speed and quality of the transaction !
