I was once a victim of my emotions when I also started in Bitcoin. There was a time when I converted my Bitcoin into fiat money all because I panicked when reading a certain rumor that Bitcoin will crash. Since then, I realized that I should not be listening to FUDs flying all around and I should never let my emotions lead my decision.

This is my big advice to newbies: Stop. Look. Don't Listen. yes, don't listen to what you read and hear all over the internet about Bitcoin because I am sure that those naysayers are not actually experts on Bitcoin but just want to have some attention unto themselves. Realize that if they are not actually good in predicting things though they might never admit it.

Just hold for more and if there is really a need to encash your Bitcoin then do it for a valid reason!

It really hit me when it dumps at first I joined and knew this digital currency but I think after some time and realize bitcoin is really volatile. In time I started to take this dumping and pumping as a natural phenomenon, I don't care if it dumps, because I know it will pump because there are a lot of people who supports and buy bitcoin when it dumps.

Do not panic really really important, i know it on myself. I lost on it ~10% of my capital  Cry
In order not to be so nervous, keep your savings in different currencies. This will soften your experiences and you will not make wrong decisions.

Also remember: you have not lost anything yet if you have not sold lower yet. So hodl until an inevitable bull run comes!

Many new people go through something like this. But at some point you just know how the game works.

Trading is not for emotional people. If you are a newbie, dont ever try to learn trading with margin. Stay away from exchange sites with margin.

You are right.
but it's not easy I guess convince the beginner.
see bitcoin prices the last few days very unstable.
sometimes have a very high rise and sometimes decrease very much.

the key to maintaining the Bitcoin price is by not selling, such as panic sell because it can actually aggravate the state of Bitcoin prices. now we have seen the price of Bitcoin is increasing, but some time ago we also have seen the decline in Bitcoin prices, I think this is a natural thing. This is the hallmark of cryptocurrencies. Changes that occur like this can we use if we know how the best action we have to do.

Now we all see that bitcoin is growing steadily. sometimes it falls, but continues to grow. therefore it can be traded both in the daily and long-term basis

As a newbie, I think panicking it’s a normal feeling of people who don’t have much knowledge with the bitcoin market and its volatility.  Before, I started to panicked when I saw the bitcoin price experienced a price dump and I quickly convert my bitcoin into fiat, not knowing that after the price dump it will bounce back again sooner. Due to the lesson learned, I understand that it is really important to study the market and always refer on the price graph history to make a good speculation out of it.

Hey! Newbie here.
Honestly this is the first thing I learn in stock market where you must never panic in your investment because it will only lead you into trouble its like fearing something that is not there of course it is given that you will fell scared if you see that the market is going down that you might sell it before you lost everything but I think the thing here is to trust where you invest in. I mean believe also in them that they will comeback strong it's about having a positive mindset when the price is low take it as an opportunity to gain more so when the price goes up again you will have more profits. trust your investment.

Yes I have experienced it when I was new to this industry. Especially when I see that my money is being spent consumed by falls. Here I was able to withdraw all my money at BTC so that it could be stopped falling even more and I did not invest in bitcoins yet. But just a few days ago and the price of bitcoins rose again I was really sorry that day. Since I looked at the value of the btc that I bought last day was great that I had to earn.

I am still new in crypto and I remember it very well my very first trading, then a week later China Ban made all coins bleed
I was panic, but too late, So I cut a quite big loss at those time
But luckily by joining this community, participating in airdrop and bounty now I am able to recover that los and still have some nice profit Cheesy

but if they don't panic and then start dumping their coins which they happen to have bought at a higher price, then how can the rest of us buy cheap coins at a big discount and how can traders make millions over night?
we need the weak hands so that we can make as much profit as we can and accumulate as much bitcoin as possible before the big players come in and the market becomes a solid thing moving up with so little dips.

There is a FOMO brewing...

I think now more than ever is a bad time to panic because there is so much money in the market it is impossible to guess the price.

Maybe you are right for that, everyone has their own panic for everyone, especially if a beginner must be very panicked if they know Bitcoin and instantly turn it into Piat, I think it makes sense if they understand it first.

This is a good advice to all the newbies out there. The important part in investing on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is that because it is being traded worldwide and 24/7, unless you have a very good experience at trading, stick to long term investment and gather all the bitcoin as much as you can then take profit once you have achieved your goal.

Now that you have said this, I remember when have the drama of china I sold all my bitcoin (my few savings) with huge losses... at the time I went to panic, to make my situation worse, I had bought many altcoins, I had huge losses with waves, Qtum, Augur .. anyway I had sleepless nights reading and trying to learn how to trade correctly

I think now more than ever is a bad time to panic because there is so much money in the market it is impossible to guess the price.

The situation is now different for bitcoin, but imagine the people who invested in lisk, lisk was 0.0016btc and fell a lot and siacoin (I refer to siacoin because it fell a lot that year) that was more than 300 satoshi and reached 700 satoshi... people who bought altcoins at peak prices, have reasons to be angry
