Hi, I'm trying to come up with a Portfolio strategy, and I would like to get to know your portfolio percentual diversification.

Right now I´m trying to decide If it would be better to have a safe strategy like 70% BTC/ETH 30% Altcoins
Or something more aggressive and risky like 40% BTC/ETH, 60% Altcoins
Let's have in mind the already high price of BTC, I have my concerns about a big correction in the near future.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks in Advance for your knownledge!!

I personally hold around 80% Bitcoin and 20% everything else.

So, what's the best ratio for you? 70:30 or 40:60? This is for you to decide unfortunately. No one knows for now which is the better ratio. In my opinion though, I think the 70:30 ratio you described is definitely the safer pick, due to bitcoin being a safer investment in general. Not saying the 40:60 one is bad though, it's definitely more risky, but the potential profits are also definitely higher (in my opinion).

I'm currently 100% in alts  Grin

It kinda depends on your stance towards the funds invested; if it wouldn't bother you much if you lose it all, you could invest more agressively and go for that 40:60 ratio. However, the last months have been dire for those (largely) in alts and quite profitable for persons owning BTC. All things considered, I'd go for a 50:50 ratio or something.

As you said that you are concerned about the correction in the price, you can keep a certain portion of your capital aside in fiat or any stable alt-coin in order to liquidate it in case of the price fall of Bitcoin. However, I am in the process of doing research about alt-coins and I am confident about XRP, ETH at the moment because they have a huge potential in their respective sectors. Ideally, you can put 20% amount in BTC, 10% in fiat/stable altcoin in order to buy more BTC in dips and 10%/10% for ETH and XRP. You can research more altcoins and invest remaining 50% of your capital in the promising altcoins.

this is a good idea to have a strong portfolio
you need to diverse your investement
for example :
25% for holding ( specifically classical coins )
25% for scalpping and swing trading ( specifically in altcoins and token )
25% for cryptocurrency fixed returnes : mining ( between mining classical coins and altcoins )
15% for investing in ICO ( try to choose good project )
10% for emergency ( this is so important point , it help you to hedge market volatility )
and you can change some percentages to fit your informatins and experiences
these is more professional strategy .. and it's very hard to keep it ... because of greed

I think that portfolio with bitcoins and alt-coins is generally a good thing and I am working
to have one portfolio. How much crypto-coins is good to have my answer is as many as you can.
And if you wish good advice you need to tell us how much money you plan to invest.
Now I have 50% in bitcoins, and 50% in tokens and alt-coins. I started with $200 on price
around $3000! Since then I am investing and building my portfolio.
I know my goals, and you need to know yours before you start buying different crypto-coins.
If you wish safe profit buy more bitcoins, if you wish big profit buy more alt-coins. You can make
a mistake with buying bitcoins and some stable alt-coins like Ethereum, Monero, Litecoin, Dash,
and others.
