Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Being a Discord Cryptocurrency member or user I always need help for wallet, nodes, forums, airdrops, and wallet related help. The community of Social SEND in discord is very helpful don't believe me go and check the members, helpers, the donators, and others....  Not only the mods help when they are available other community member comes to help the newbie's . Me being a newbie in nodes and wallets, it took 2 hours for me to figure it out(lol) then after I failed I asked in the #help channel and they told me to put nodes in the console and it started synchronizing. They are great  Wink Wink The coin is going to rise pretty soon so buy as much as you can for the investors. For the holders hold it till we rise WOOT! I'm holding it. Masternode!!!!

More specifically, I notice that the block that it has stuck is 13937. Is there any specific issue with this block or it is normal that takes so long?

From the debug.log I get the following:

Could you please advise?

Thanks!!

My wallet on currently on block 35741.

You could try to some more nodes to your conf file:

addnode=45.55.72.254:50050
addnode=45.77.141.157:50050
addnode=79.98.27.161:50050
addnode=142.44.166.244:50050
addnode=80.211.202.243:50050
addnode=80.209.239.238:50050
addnode=208.167.249.214:50050
addnode=45.63.41.122:50050
addnode=104.156.225.130:50050
addnode=145.239.30.67:50050
addnode=207.246.98.165:50050
addnode=93.186.200.238:50050
addnode=158.69.211.236:50050
addnode=62.141.38.240:50050
addnode=76.169.236.235:50050
addnode=94.130.108.131:50050

You also could try to resync the blockchain. Close the wallet, save the wallet.dat file (make a copy of it or something like that),
delete the folders blocks, chainstate, database and open the wallet again.

If you need more help, just look in the Social Send discord channel, there are a lot of helpful community members.

I'm not an expert, but I have couple things you can try...

1.) Did you restart the wallet after adding the nodes?
2.) Are you using the latest wallet? (I believe v1.0.0.5 is the latest)
3.) try some additional nodes...

addnode=212.159.69.141:50050 add

if you check this block in explorer, there's a special transaction type. It's screwing the sync process in the wallet version that you're using. What i did was to get a dump of 'blocks' and 'chainstate' folders from a computer that managed to sync successfully using a different version of the wallet. After overwriting corresponding folders and restarting the wallet, it got through block 13937, but got stuck again at block 16k+ (don't remember the exact number). Anyway, the point is that the only solution that is working, is to simply use a different version of the wallet (in my case i switched from Mac to Windows). Since then, everything's working as expected. Hope it helps.

So the sync problem only appears on your MAC wallet, not on your Windows wallet?

Maybe you could talk to a dev in the discord channel to get it fixed.

Could you please advise?

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

I am trying to sync the wallet (Mac High Sierra) but it's stuck at 2 weeks ago.

I have added the following IPs (based on the announcement), but still no luck.

addnode 92.231.227.4:50050 add

addnode 45.76.175.211:50050 add

addnode 158.69.209.241:50050 add

addnode 165.227.106.170:50050 add

addnode 108.61.23.239:50050 add

addnode 142.91.104.115 add

Could you please advise?

Thanks!!

I'm not an expert, but I have couple things you can try...

1.) Did you restart the wallet after adding the nodes?
2.) Are you using the latest wallet? (I believe v1.0.0.5 is the latest)
3.) try some additional nodes...

addnode=212.159.69.141:50050 add
addnode=66.70.186.2:50050 add
addnode=173.199.118.163:50050 add
addnode=45.76.116.122:50050 add
addnode=145.239.29.9:50050 add
addnode=165.227.106.170:50050 add
addnode=142.44.246.3:50050 add

if you check this block in explorer, there's a special transaction type.

Hi guys,

thanks for the recommendations, unfortunately none of these worked. I joined the discord channel for help, thus I will let you know whether the guys there could help me.

Thanks!

What the heck are you talking about? There is no ICO and there is no PIRL. Mistake or spamming useless posts in random threads?

Dear SEND Community,

We have finally made it and we want to thank all of you for your support. Social Send will soon be able to be sent over Social Media Networks as promised. We will begin testing small groups of you in early January. All of you will be able to create accounts and start using the platform as intended by sharing SEND effortlessly through social media networks very soon. We will have further announcements in the near future regarding the platform that we think everyone will be very excited about.

With the testing phase about to begin, we are also announcing a large marketing campaign to support Social Send. This campaign will touch everyone in the crypto community letting them know about Social Send. We have started the campaign but it really does not kick in till the beginning of January. We will post the details of the campaign soon. Just know that we plan on spending whatever it takes so that everyone takes notice of SEND.

We would also like to thank all of the people who have offered to help the community. We have put together a great team of people and we want to thank them for offering to help support SEND. You are going to be seeing a lot more activity out of our team on social media and in the community.

Thank You All!

Yea it was a group of 5 or 6 people talking about it in the coin farm chat.

They said the pump will begin today and last for 2-3 days.
