I wondered how many Jalapenos BFL will have to deliver before my unit (ordered on January 2, 2013) will be processed. I scraped some data from http://bfl.ptz.ro/ pivoted it, and tried to make a diagramm you see below. If you don't see anything, log into your google account or look at this album on imgur: http://imgur.com/a/4WVn9#0. The diagrams are made with google spreadsheet and somehow are onyl visible when logged in.

Jalapeno orders:

An here are the Little Single orders:

These are the Single orders:

And these are the Mini Rig Orders:

Note that the numbers from http://bfl.ptz.ro/ are not complete and may contain errors... but still I think the diagram contains some info... at least the info that there where not so many orders between October 2012 (which they are processing now) and my order in January 2013. But remember, there might be many more orders...

If you think these diagrams helped you in any way, feel free to spare some satoshis (BTC): 1DEEGch7eG4mSbkpCiGcnCLPWC4m1pGYeu

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Yes, but you don't know of Jody's posts how many orders there are in between the ones they are processing now and your order... If there are many, you will wait longer if there are only a few... true?

Great visualisations, I haven't seen the data presented like this before (apologies if I've missed it elsewhere). If they're shipping October orders now just look at the s**tload of orders coming up from earlier this year! Wonder when that lot will get cleared.

The graphs do look nice.  As you mentioned, you still won't know how many are in between the currently processed orders and yours by using bfl.ptz.ro.  It is all anecdotal evidence there and apparently not currently updated (Blog lists Jalapenos through 10/17/2012 - last "Delived" order on bfl.ptz.ro is 9/18/2012)

The site is a nice idea, but given that anybody can enter any data they want, it's not really great for definite metrics.

Right! And lets assume that the data in these charts are off by 300% (meaning that there are 3 times more orders a day than have been self reported) That basically means that BFL is still stuck on June 23rd orders which may be 300 units (singles)

All this data points to one very clear conclusion. They are having MASSIVE supply chain issues and they have basically stopped shipping everything but their 5GH units.

Your very clear conclusion is just a speculation.

Your very clear conclusion is just a speculation.

Here is the update for the last 5 days from BFL Employee Jody on what has shipped since Friday 7/12

Jalapenos through Oct 17

Little Singles: none

Singles: June 23. NO PSU's

MiniRigs: June 23

I have bolded and underlined some words for you.

Referring to Little Singles they have not shipped a single unit since 7/12 - That would indicate they have none to ship, that may, as you say be speculation.

Referring to Singles - NO PSU's (and other posts by Jody) says that they are only shipping Singles to customers that they have contacted (one at a time) to tell them that they have no PSUs in stock and is it ok to ship them without PSU's (there are Jody posts to validate this also)

Your turn.

BTW I had to login to google.com to access the charts.
Why in heaven's name MR peak is in Nov 2012? Did they think it would arrive before reward halving?

Look at the unit count, though; that spike could have been one person.

I don't remember how much those were going for, but that wasn't a huge amount of money, especially for someone who was dreaming of wealth beyond avarice from those units, right?

Now that BFL has shipped some sample chips, and presumably enabling boards will be ready for soldering when the chips ship, if I were waiting for hardware, I'd probably be fretting more about the possibility of chip orders front-running my hardware.  Only like 60 days left until promised shipping date on the chips, I think.

Well, for most of the BFL customers, this dream is over now. I don't expect my June 2012 order to break even (Single SC / ~ 200 BTC). BFL is shipping Single orders from June 23 for how many weeks? BFL? Never again!

Well done and nice effort, dego.

Something to sound out, I tried to add my order of 4 Jallies into that website of http://bfl.ptz.ro/ but it is not able to add in. Idk why I can't add...
