So I think this needs to be updated. I have a student translating the wiki at the moment, they're using my profile to do so.

What has been translated so far? the main page, the wiki FAQ, and buying bitcoins.

https://zh-cn.bitcoin.it/wiki/购买bitcoin
https://zh-cn.bitcoin.it/wiki/首页
https://zh-cn.bitcoin.it/wiki/常见问题解答

Working on securing your wallet.

What pages are needed to meet the bounty requirements?
汗,翻译的质量真是不敢恭维。

It is a wiki, anyone is free to edit.

The FAQ section looked much better.Yes I can volunteer some of my time and edit these pages after I figure out how to use this wiki.

The value of BTC has gone up quite a bit since this was opened :/  I cannot afford a 100 BTC pledge anymore, so I must unfortunately reduce my pledge to 50 BTC.

If the 15 most popular wiki pages are translated, I'd say that qualifies for the bounty in my opinion.

More than 1 persons will be editing the pages.

The bounty will be shared among them? According to who did what and how much?

Like I said, split the bounty between the number of pages. Pages editing history is on the wiki so it can be worked out who did what, exactly.

Also I think this should be a once off thing, to just get the Chinese version of the wiki off the ground. So first come first serve.

I am all for more resources for anything bitcoin related. And I am sure everyone feels the same.

But at the end, bitcoin is more or less real money now. You can exchange to real cash.

These is already a Contributors award which a bot will do the work on ranking contribution.

Is the Chinese version included? being counted for that Contributors award?

Is there is no bot to determine contribution level, argument or disappointment may arise.

It is awfully difficult to follow changes just by looking at the history, especially if a page is modified numerous times.

If I open a new page, write a couple of sentences. And the other people comes an write a couple of sentences each, with changes and deletion in between, how to you determine the contribution level with naked eye. And we are talking about 15 pages!

... student would be disappointed to find out he only gets any payment after doing everything and would give up ...

The bounty is not a lot but an encouragement.

Yes. It would be bad if they or anyone for that matter put in the efforts and not getting anything, or don't feel like they get a fair share. So a bit more open and quantifiable measure is better.

If the Chinese version is counted for that Contribution award, then Chinese contributors should get something at least.

I am not sure but.. how about asking MagicalTux and confirm that point first?? And maybe the bot can count contributions under the Chinese sub-domain and determine the ranking !?
And just like that contribution award, create a pool so other people can put bitcoin in it to make it more attractive?

Nefario, I trust you to manage the project on your end, so give me an address and I will send the 50 BTC to you now, and you can in turn pay out as you see fit.  Hopefully it will be you and not your student giving me an address.  Cheesy

By the way, how much are my 75 yuan worth in BTC these days?  Smiley

Worth less btc than what you put in if it matched the current market rate. But since it was only you and ColdHardMetal who wanted any Yuanm, and no one here wanted bitcoins I'll just refund the original 25 btc amount or I could use that to make the payout.

It's up to you.

Ok, use that to make the payout, and I'll send you an additional 25.  Should I use the address in your sig?

Sent you the other 25 BTC.

Recieved. And a first payment of 70btc has been made for the translations so far.

This leaves 30btc available for additional pages added.

Ok, so the wiki almost there. But what about the software? If anyone is interested in getting it translated into both Trad/Simp Mandarin, I have a team up for the challenge. Anybody want to offer a bounty?
