Hello, my question is simple;

- How do you (experienced fellow members) pick a bounty campaign to join?

It's down to research. Have a look at the official website and their social media, how they interact with their customers and whitepaper.
Most importantly though you must agree with what you are promoting. I don't promote gambling and porn ICO's as I don't think they are worthwhile.

It is only on you, just find out whose campaign it is and you have do reserch on your own to don't get scamed.

I personally like to see a professional looking website, a well written ANN thread, and white pages with developers listed. I feel that developers that hide their identities makes it a lot easier for them to scam people.

in distinguishing a good bounty campaign, beware of those too-good-to-be-true campaigns which offer very high bounty rewards,
uncertain information of the members,because some are just made to look nice to entice you.
And check also the background of the campaign manager if he/she  has already enough experience.

I often choose a program bounty that is managed by people who have experienced, and are well known in managing a project. Don't be fooled by the lure lure of lucrative (impossible to happen) .

As a newbie, and sounding stupid, what is a bounty campaign, sounds like something I might like . lol

Thank you for this thread.

I find it hard as well to know which one is legit. Some of the bounties are doing fine ket's say in a week or two, after that no more updates on their social media accounts.
