I'll tell you a secret in turn for my code: The 10% off sounds better than it is. It's actually 10% off of the 60%, as in (1 - 0.1) * 0.60 = 0.54

Exactly, it's 10% off your commission fees.

If we gave 10% off your trade we would lose money on every trade.
If there is a lot of confusion on it we can try to clear it up but this is the first time I've heard it mentioned.

What's more frustrating is that commissions are paid in USD/LR/... and not in BTC. I now have 16 LR - cents that are of absolutetly no use to me as I can neither trade nor withdraw them.

Luckily I have enough people referred that I can at least from time to time convert a USD to BTC. With only a few people referred who are also not active traders though even this might get tough.

All in all: It's a BTC exchange, please pay commissions in BTC (or at least make it configurable)!
