That's the problem with Ethereum. Too many transactions. Fees are quite high.
Waves platform is supposed to perform better, however it does not have the same load as Eth.
Eth is still developing, hopefully they will introduce solutions to this problem. And transaction fees!

ETH  has a long way to go, i bet devs will find a solution, they definitely have the funds to do the research and hire engineers to improve ETH protocol

I think Ethereum is charging now as it breaks its silence since it goes too slow last year and now reaches 1,000$+ and it also climbs back on top next to bitcoin when Ripple surpasses its market capitalization lately.
