Hello everyone

I would like to start a group buy for a BitFury Miner (October since August is out of stock)

There will be either 120 units at 1BTC each or 480 Units at .25 BTC each

Price for the miner is 7500 EUR and VAT to Italy is 1800 EUR
Total will be 9300 EUR

My advisor has said that the computing department can assist me in a VAT refund so no VAT since it's for research purposes under my computer lab's use.

For this group buy there will be 600 units. Each at 0.25 BTC totaling 150 BTC which just covers the machine.

Each .25BTC unit will have .833 GH/s
So for 1 BTC you are getting 3.33 GH/s much more than buying USB Eruptors.

About me
I am a college student and have access to my school's computer lab. Secure with only 5 people who have access to this lab (keycard access, and place has 24/7 security). Free internet and free electricity. I will be charging 3% of each month's mined coins as a hosting service. No electricity costs or internet costs.

Why am I doing this?
I have free electricity from school, and want to make the most of it. 400GH/s is about 233 bitcoins per month. That's about 6.9 Bitcoins for me each month per machine. I hope to host just 10 of these machines.

Are people interested in this group buy?

I will be using John K as escrow if there is enough interest.
I would also like everyone to know that these are prices based on 80USD bitcoin if price for bitcoins increases and there is enough pledged to purchase a machine I would like to close out the escrow and make a purchase with BitFuryStrikesback.com as soon as possible. The total mining power will be divided equally among the number of units which have been sold, my fee remains the same.

If interested please post here to show interest.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Do not want... unless you have:

More posts, more trades, more PICTURES of the hosting facility, location, ability for a forum member to meet you, partial Dox posting, some sort of proof you're not a complete idiot or scammer who will run off with their thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of equipment, proof the school is GIVING YOU PERMISSION TO USE THE FACILITY, INTERNET, ELECTRICITY, FULL ACCESS for ALL of the for mentioned equipment. Don't get me wrong, it sounds like a steal, but all of the points I made are valid ways to up your rep. Oh, and references, verifiable references. Online and off. You're talking about thousands of dollars of other people's money. All other pre-order monsters destoyed everyone's perspective of honesty (which should have been already askew given the fact that this is the world wide (anonymous) web...)

what happens when the school finds out?  you have absolutely ZERO control over your device on someones premises.
when the school finds out, you can be charged with theft the the miner will become evidence.

Good luck!
