Dear Sharpay Community Members!
Sharpay development update: Changed the client for working with the Ethereum network with Parity to its own light client, added the IP reputation checker, improved the checking mechanism for organic visits, etc.
In the last couple of weeks, we have added different new features to our share buttons and improved our code. We are going to tell you some of the tasks we completed:
1) Changed the client for working with the Ethereum network with Parity to its own light client. We refused the full Ethereum node and switched to a light client based on web3.js.
2) Added the IP reputation checker. When registering visits from different visitors, we record all the IP addresses and evaluate them to prevent cheating. We added an IP reputation checker to help us monitor valid organic visits.
3) Improved the checking mechanism for organic visits. Before, there was a problem for checking the visit when the user disabled tracking cookies in their browser. We reviewed our code for checking visits and improved it.
4) Added font weight selection for animation of the direct share buttons. We added the font weight selection in the direct share buttons. Webmasters are now able to change the font weight of the “share and reward” animation.
5) Added link shorten function in direct sharing. The shorten link function was not included in the field for copying the link in direct sharing. It was always using the full link. We added back the link shorten function in direct sharing.
6) Updated the UI of the visit history page. We combined the waiting status of the reward, replaced the label of conversion award with “Extra reward”, removed the “traffic light” status.
7) Upgraded the Bitly shorten link function. We have migrated to Bitly API V4 for the shorten link function.
 Checked plugin compatibility with WordPress 5.4. We have checked our Sharpay plugin version on WordPress. Our plugin version is compatible with the latest WordPress 5.4.

Sharpay.io updated FAQ to meet the new version of the system.
We have been developing and refining our Sharpay share buttons for more than 2 years. The previous version of our FAQ is no longer relevant due to our new developments and features. We have added a lot of new questions and answers about our newly released functions.
We have included lots of new topics, how smart reward works, how users withdraw their tokens, the rewarding modes for webmasters and Telegram channel owners, how to add share buttons on Telegram channels, etc. For example:
How to add Sharpay buttons to a Telegram channel?
In order for the Sharpay buttons to be automatically added to each new post in your Telegram channel, you need to register in app.sharpay.io and connect your Telegram account. After that, follow the instructions for setting up the Sharpay bot (https://app.sharpay.io/bot).
What is a smart reward?
If the website or Telegram channel uses the smart rewards mode, users will be rewarded with cryptocurrency from the list of TOP 100 CoinMarketCap, which showed the best price increase in the last 24 hours.
What is a “Pending reward”?
Sharpay checks 24 hours all shares and user visits. This is done to avoid abuse and cheating. Rewards will be rewarded for all shares and visits that pass the test.

Sharpay servers will be upgraded tomorrow, November 18, 2020 at 9:00 PM UTC+0.As you remember, some time ago we set ourselves the task of optimizing server capacities, reducing costs and increasing productivity. As a result, after analyzing the situation, we decided to abandon Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services in favor of alternative options. The AWS solution has its definite advantages (super fast scalability), but there are also disadvantages (very expensive). Perhaps this is a temporary solution and we will return to AWS in the future. But at the moment, using AWS is not justifying itself for us. Now, what do we get to. These are dedicated servers from one of the largest European providers. The main thing for us now is that such an upgrade will reduce server costs by more than 3 times, with a multiple increase in performance and an increase in the speed of the system. We are currently finishing all preparatory work for switching to new servers. In particular, we moved away from using the SQS task queue in favor of our own solution and switched from using EB to Docker containers. hi everyone. I've been sharpay holder for more than 2 years. As you can see sharpay has performed very poorly and there's just no sign of it being alive. 6 million $ was raised during ico sale and I wonder where did that money go? every time I ask dev team that what's up and will there be a new exchange listing or not they just say we are working on it. isn't 2.5 years and 6 million $ enough to do some work? if you don't belive in your own project how can we? we demand that s token would be listed on bigger and better exchanges so that people can get to know and invest in it. exchanges like hotbit list coins for a reasonable fee. please instead of giving empty promises and dawdling do something
