In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Anyone running SMOS have problems with mixing 20xx cards with 10xx cards? I moved two 1080Ti's to their own rig after Bminer 14.3.0 came out and they ran fine until I added a 2080Ti to the rig yesterday. When I did that, the card listed last on SMOS (device 2 in this case) stopped working correctly and the card would overheat. When I removed that card, the card that was now listed last on SMOS (device 1 in this case) stopped working correctly. I tried different USB cables, risers, power supply, motherboard and it is always the same: the 1080Ti fans work fine until I add the 2080Ti, then one stops working correctly. So I tested a 2070 with two 1080s and the same exact thing happened - the fan won't work correctly on the card listed last on SMOS any time a 20xx card is added to the rig. I was assuming it was an issue with SMOS, but all my testing was with Bminer 14.3.1 on the latest SMOS.

New version 15 didnt start because of bcrypt.dll

Newest Win10 upgrade, dll is in system32 folder, but miner cant find it. Same picture on all of my rigs. No matter which GPU (1080, 1080Ti, 2080Ti).

CudaError: Unknown error:C:\WINDOWS\System32\bcrypt.dll
Miner died! It will be restarted soon...

14.3 is working with no problem.

Guys how are you able to get 1.2G/s per GTX 1080Ti at stock speed? I am unable to go above 0.6G/s per card with stock Sad
Cards are at 50°C, so definitely not an overheating issue. Is here anybody with 6 GTX 1080Ti's on one rig running total at 7G/s?

OS: Win 7 x64

I have played with -devices parameter and restrict bminer to use only 1 or 2 cards.
With 2 GPU's its getting stable at 1,2G/s each, so 2,4G/s in total. But with more than 2 cards speed crashes to 0,6G/s.
Also power consumption start to vary a lot with more than 2 cards.  I have no other problems with this rig on other algos.
Could PCI lanes be the problem? Any idea?

Besides the malloc crash above, I also get lots of these:

Code:
[INFO] [2019-02-18T01:09:07+02:00] CUDA error DRIVER: '709' in func 'CopyEdges' line 174

or

Code:
[INFO] [2019-02-18T01:48:34+02:00] Received new job 90412
[FATA] [2019-02-18T01:48:38+02:00] Irrecoverable errors: [D7] GPU hang detected

or without any actual error:

Code:
[INFO] [2019-02-18T01:26:49+02:00] Total 9.30 G/s Accepted shares 55 Rejected shares 0
[INFO] [2019-02-18T01:26:51+02:00] Received new job 0
[WARN] [2019-02-18T01:26:57+02:00] Miner died! It will be restarted soon...

14.0.0 was the most stable. ALL VERSIONS AFTER 14.0.0 crash very often like above. Please fix these!

Hey, this is not really an issue post, but more like appreciation for the dev:

@realbminer for always pushing the envelope and for providing support for all sorts of algorithms and GPUs that all other competitors don't offer! Especially appreciate the support for P104/106 GPUs, <6GB for Grin, and also the recent support for 8GB C31. Bminer will earn the business of the majority of the mining industry for continuing to provide support for a wide variety of hardware!

Impressive! Keep it up.

func 'CopyEdges' errors, bad malloc, or "Miner died" (without anything else) continue to cause lots of crashes, almost every 5 minutes - this is a small GPU farm that is rock stable with v14.0.0 with no errors or crashes!

Code:
*** Error in `/node/bminer-15.0.0': malloc(): memory corruption: 0x00007fa883d43de0 ***

Code:

I can confirm 14.3.1 gave no malloc crashes for either grin31 or grin29 on my 1080Ti rigs. 15.0.0 gives this error on both 1080Ti and 1070:

Code:
*** Error in `/node/bminer-15.0.0': malloc(): memory corruption: 0x00007fa883d43de0 ***

I can also confirm that the CopyEdges crashes happen only on 15.0.0. The previous 14.*.* versions were all fine for both c29 and c31 (gtx1070 and gtx1080ti).

Code:
[INFO] [2019-02-18T03:18:39+02:00] CUDA error DRIVER: '709' in func 'CopyEdges' line 174

15.0.0 is buggy. Looking forward to a bug-fix version. Right now there is a lot of wasted hashrate due to all the miner restarting.
