Wow! This is really a nice development, this will bring about more adoption of the bitcoin in several endeavors of man. I hope this will bring massive change of mindset of the Bitcoin pessimist
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I do have plans later on to start my own business and will be accepting Bitcoin as a payment option. On top of that, my dad planned to reopen our coffee shop, and this time, we will be accepting Bitcoin for those who would like to order coffee and other ones that are in our menu.

Thats great news!!

Please add your business and your dads coffee shop to our directory when you're both up and running. We'd love to have you part of the community!

I won't start a business accepting bitcoin since it is still volatile and it can ruin my profits in fiat. I better do it once the bitcoin price is stable and once the maximum circulating supply is reached. It can be an alternative payment but not a main payment since fiat money is still the once used in most business.

Bitcoin will eventually become main stream and adopted by the masses, it's just going to take time.

Everyday more and more businesses are starting accept it.

this is an interesting idea, making BTC as a means of payment.
but unfortunately in my country the legality of bitcoin is still in question, there has been no official decision from the government.
I hope bitcoin can be received here as a means of payment.

In some studies, you will find a lot of shops accepting bitcoin. I think the Crypto Price section is useless not a cryptographic site. Interesting idea, but there are sites similar to https://coinmap.org/ and http://bitcoin.directory/. I think BTC and some other electronic money are better ideas.

I have no business for myself but I know in the world, Abigail Johnson, CEO of Fidelity Investments said "I am one of the few CEOs of a major financial services company who has never abandoned digital money - I have always believed in Bitcoin." Johnson also added that the company was experimenting with Bitcoin through the mining of digital currencies and by providing a Bitcoin investment platform to its customers. I think there are many business that accepts Bitcoin.

I have a lot of confidence in Bitcoin development. Actually, I have not set up my own business yet, but I hope that later I will be able to have a business that accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment. You know, in 2017, it's becoming more noticeable as it becomes more valuable, dramatically increasing the number of Bitcoin-enabled stores around the world.

The data show that Bitcoin's price correlates with the number of businesses willing to accept Bitcoin as a payment method with 0.7994 Pearson correlation coefficient. This means that with the increase in Bitcoin prices, there is likely to be an increase in the number of Bitcoin-enabled businesses. More over, bitcoin which has may advantages will on top position in digital market so i always accept bitcoin.

Bitcoin within the next 2 years will become huge. This year alone we've seen a huge increase in the amount of businesses accepting it.

4 years ago only a handful of people had heard of it, now most peoples Grandmas know what Bitcoin is!  Grin

Hi,

We've just launched a great new website called BitcoinPeople.

It's a free to use directory showcasing all the businesses that accept Bitcoin as a method of payment.

Great for companies to advertise themselves on and a super easy way for customers to find somewhere to spend their hard earned Bitcoins.

The website has only just been launched so there are only a tiny amount of businesses featured on there at the minute. Therefore if you own (or know someone who owns) a business please visit BitcoinPeople and upload your listing!

Please follow us on Twitter @_bitcoinpeople

Thanks for reading and we appreciate your support!

I just visited your website and following you on Twitter everything looks great, do you have a plan to make your own tokens for payments other than Bitcoin.
