It really does not matter whether this person, the new PR person has a degree in PR, was a PR person for a major music label, worked for the government of Sri Lanka as their PR person, or is a share holder or not. The only thing that is important is that he or she or they provide regular accurate regular information. What are your qualifications to make such silly demands? Are you a share holder? How many shares do you own? It seems to me that many people who have a handful of shares, and are worrying about very little come here and then make outrageous demands of Ke, ActM and the other people on here. Just my .0002 BTC This is great. Thanks to Ken and any others involved in getting us to this point and for acknowledging the value that another team member for PR, etc can provide.
I do have to say that the pics and video are anticlimactic due to their lack of substance. No pics of Avalon chips or demo boards? No video of the device running next to a screen that shows how much it's hashing? I encourage the team to share meaningful photos and video otherwise there is no point and you're giving fodder to the FUDs.
+1 I'd also like to know who the new PR is. He is a forum member? Agreed. Who is this person and what are his/her qualifications. Is this person local to the VMC operation or remote? Please be transparent or the FUDs will rise.

It seems to me that many people who have a handful of shares, and are worrying about very little come here and then make outrageous demands of Ke, ActM and the other people on here. Just my .0002 BTC Asking for qualifications does not imply that they have to have a degree in PR and it certainly doesn't equate to demanding. All I'm asking for (not demanding) is to know more about this person. One example of qualifications could be that the person has been involved since the IPO was first launched. Another is, this could be one of the other Slaughter family members that we have not heard from yet. I thought it was obvious from my post that I was simply concerned with lack of transparency and that it could lead to FUD. I'm not an extremist and I would never make a demand. I play devils advocate to identify what will allow FUD to make an argument. And if you recall the PMs that we exchanged a day ago, you know I'm a shareholder, how many shares I have, and what my opinion on how bright the future of ActM is. Edit: and now that I've made that request for more information, and defended that request against distortion, you won't find me harping on this. My argument is out there. Ken can do what he will with it.

I'm extremely happy to see this PR position filled. The first comment on here by them I believe has already proven their ability to submit a positive post in a clear and concise manner. This will help out a lot with "public" perception and investor confidence if continued. Thank you The writing style does look very familiar though, which definitely isn't a bad thing

For those like me who were wondering, Ken answered my PM about still-to-be-transfered AMC tendered shares. Hi Ken, I read carefully your forum updates but I have not seen you saying that all AMC tender requests sent before july 31 had been completed. Could you please confirm that you are still in the process of clearing the pre-jul-31 tender queue ? Thank you for your reply, I hope my shares have not been forgotten I am still working on the hard transfers, like yours. When they get out of order, then it takes a lot more work to verify the transfer. I will be working on those today.

This is all starting to look increasingly more promising. Ken is taking care of share tendering, we have a dedicated PR person, and the technical pursuits appear to be making some solid headway. I, for one, am excited

Who in their right mind would invest 200mil$ into any bitcoin mining operation, never mind a company like avalon after their fuckups ?
Fixed that for you. I'm of the opinion that if you have $1Bn+ and want to profit in BTC, you buy some bitcoins and you invest in something like bitpay, coinbase, etc. People that have that kind of money and are looking at risky investments are looking to get back a 5X multiple in < 5 years. I don't see it happening in the mining biz...

the reason Yifu could be absent might be because of this deal, 8M in chip orders is definitely a penny in comparison to a 200M private funding venture, while I dont agree with how the situation is being handled since many of us are being left in the dust trying to figure out whats going on, Yifu is a person and a business man who is trying to become wealthy, sometimes you have to make decisions like this where someone isnt happy and this time we are on that end of the stick,
I dont think yifu is a scammer in any sense of the word he is just prioritizing if this deal is actually real, it also makes BTC look incredibly strong since someone out there is willing to put a quarter BILLION dollar bet into BTC
