Telegram group is a waste of time:

1 - Members of the telegram group live in a fantasy world.
2 - Telegram Admin does not know how to handle criticism.
3 - Telegram Admin is a spoiled child.

All other currencies are recovering but ZERO is not.
There are other currencies that have no investment and even in this situation are growing.

Also, it is quite ridiculous to say that suprnova was the only pool that was not affected by the exploit problem, and that as an alleged scientist Huh
then I would rather ask why that was so.

Because I'm doing this since years and I actually know what I'm doing.

Because I'm doing this since years and I actually know what I'm doing.

Despite the conflict I had with you, I have nothing personal against you; When I think something is wrong, I feel that I have to express my opinion as long as I feel I have valid arguments.
Exactly because of your long experience, I didn't expect the fee issue to take place.

I also was worried about another issue related to block finding, wtm and suprnova, and after a nice and civilized conversation with Sailor32, I was the first to say that there was nothing wrong.

I am mining in suprnova as we speak.

Now regarding the exploit, I tested most major pools and found out that suprnova was the only one rejecting low difficulty shares.
By the way, this is exactly how Science works, mr lokko.

Lokko, that's enough with all these personal attacks, don't you think?

What exactly do you hope to achieve by attacking Zero team and me personally (who I repeat, I am not a member of the team)?

Is it perhaps because of your pool's failure? You should blame yourself for quitting the wrong time. It's nobody else's fault if your friend Tearo left (with some zero that wasn't his own!), and you had no support to run the pool, because you simply don't know anything about it!

You accuse telegram. Do you forget who founded the telegram group? I will remind you that it was Ingar, the same guy who helped you redesign your own pool! So you are shooting at your own feet, hey?
Why don't you point the gun to your head after accusing zero team for all this shit?

If development is not real, then who updated the zero code to 1.0.14?

I told you very nicely that I didn't like the fact that you hid the miners addresses and I could not support you unless you reverted to the way your pool was before. You denied. You failed. Blame yourself.

My contributions to Zero currency are all over this ANN, with active help towards miners, with releasing a modded Opriminer, with helping towards unmasking the mining exploit.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? YOU EVEN DENY TO CONTRIBUTE A POOL FEE TOWARDS ZERO DEVELOPMENT.
If you think that developing another miner is that easy, then try to do it yourself, instead of blaming the way the community pool is set up.

Well it doesn't matter because you don't have any miners and judging by your attitude, you will never have.

As for my role here and "trying to play" here, my only interest is zero to do well, something that will benefit me as a miner and as an investor.

But at this point, it is obvious why as this poison is coming from you towards myself. It is simply because you expected me to support your pool and I didn't.

Price was artificially pushed up.
Development is not a real one

Telegram was founded to make a fanboy coin
Criticism is blocked
Development not possible

the fact that a community pool is made with https
which is not necessary at all and makes sense only with login pages
absolutely nothing to do with professionalism.

A community mining software is the right way with one
fee of 1 or 2%
that would contribute to protection and not a ridiculous https page
Something is not going right here and it stinks into the sky
Now you can complain (constantine) again as you want but that is fact

Also, it is quite ridiculous to say that suprnova was the only pool that was not affected by the exploit problem, and that as an alleged scientist Huh
then I would rather ask why that was so.

Nothing but hot air and advertising.
If there were not http://miningpools.cloud/ then the project would never have been stable.
also zero.forgetop.com has done a lot for it
Well it is that the daemon 1.0.14 was completed, but in my opinion are
the innovations that are to come, simply an attempt to push the price without any real benefit.

It has to be worked on, communty mining software with fee and above that the project zero should be financed.
AMEN

and before I forget it Constantine,

Then you want to tell me how I have to lead a pool
sorry, but you have no idea and are not really a serious person for me, even if you are constantly trying to play here

Well here is the full transcript showing that lokko had absolutely no idea what the exploit was, and that he was asking me to start mining in his pool:

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 07:48]
hey are you there?

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 07:48]
hey, the pool is running fine now, would you like to try it again?

ConstantinGR, [27.01.18 09:34]
Are you protected from invalid shares?

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 15:59]
Invalid shares can occur if someone uses a wrong miner, but that is not bad because the shares are not counted.
you probably mean the security story in linux kernel, yes that's fixed with me

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 16:41]
yeah isee what you mean

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 16:41]
i fix it

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 16:41]
"banning": {
        "enabled": true,
"time": 600, //How many seconds to ban worker for
"invalidPercent": 50, //What percent of invalid shares triggers ban
"checkThreshold": 500, //Check invalid percent when this many shares have been submitted
"purgeInterval": 300 //Every this many seconds clear out the list of old bans
    },

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:20]
but this was is in my pool default settings, i have nothing to fix

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:20]
Wink

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:23]
you mean this

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:23]
protected Reading privileged memory with a side-channel

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:24]
thats fixed on my server

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:25]
but i understand this panic with invalid shares , thats a default z-nomp standard setting

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:26]
Do not be fooled, I think some pool owners are trying to cheat you and putting it on a bug

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:34]
if a miner make to many invalid shares, then ban !

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 17:34]
so have a nice day

ConstantinGR, [27.01.18 18:07]
I am not sure if you exactly understand what i mean, I will test your pool tomorrow and let you know, ok?

ConstantinGR, [27.01.18 18:08]
There are a couple of exploits I am aware that produce bad shares...

minerentry.com, [27.01.18 19:54]
no problem, i have understand that problem, my linux kernel is updated to this version , all good Wink  https://usn.ubuntu.com/usn/usn-3522-3/

And here is the rest. At the end lokko pretends everything is ok and a couple days later, after seeing his pool with no miners, decides it's all my fault...

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:48]
Ok, i tested your pool regarding the exploit Demarsac mentioned, and you are shielded, so all good

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:49]
I just moved one of my two rigs in your pool

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:49]
nice thanks for testing Smiley

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:49]
and told a friend of mine who has 20+gpus to do the same, maybe he already did

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:53]
There is one thing I think is very important though, and this is transparency. I really suggest you should bring back the miners stats. These stats help identify if your pool is fair with rewards and if there are no issues with fair distribution of rewards.

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:54]
yeah look on stats

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:54]
Wink

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:54]
but you need your t adress for that

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:55]
I can see my own stats, but you used to have a list with all workers stats. Where is this now?

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:55]
sure Smiley

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:55]
thats important Smiley

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:55]
go on stats and your adress enter

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:56]
I did, and then?

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:56]
ähm

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:56]
give me your address

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:56]
t1************************

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:57]
this is still z-nomp, but i made an anonymous pool out of it everyone can see his statistics, that was the main task

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:57]
http://minerentry.com/workers/t*********************#

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:57]
go on stats enter your address

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:57]
and wait a few seconds

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 18:58]
Mate I told you I have done this already. I don't wanna see just my address, I want to see the list of all addresses mining in your pool, and I wanna see who finds what block

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:59]
no thats not more anonymous

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 18:59]
everyone can see his statistics, if minerentry would not pay fairly, the miners would notice it immediately, the miners are not stupid!

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:00]
Smiley

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:03]
I can not make something different from an anonymous pool just because users want to see the statistics of others, that's really for me
no argument, also I would have to change everything again, excuse me please, you know me and know that I cheat no one, I'm lokko

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 19:03]
Sorry but miners can be lazy and not looking at the stats 24/7. Comparing addresses hashrates and blocks found, was a way to identify cheaters. So my recommendation is to turn your pool back to the way it was. There is no need for this kind of shady anonymity. If someone needs to be anonymous, he/she can make a new address and mine to it. Not knowing the list of miners and not being able to check the distribution of awards, scares me.

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:03]
block found you can see that

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 19:05]
Yes, every pool finds blocks. I need to see stats of other miners to compare rewards wth other pools and wtm predictions. If you don't wanna do this, it's fine, I' ll just go back to the pool I came from.

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:06]
Constantine, you're suggesting something to me, and if you really think that I'm cheating, that the zero has driven on, then I'm really sorry, but minerentry stays the way it is, it's pretty cheeky of you, honestly

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:08]
others show you all the statistics and cheat you anyway

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 19:08]
I am not saying that you are cheating , I am saying that keeping the stats anonymous, you are potentially (even without your will) helping cheaters to remain anonymous. I don't see ANY legitimate reason behind anonymity.

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 19:08]
Yes, but I am able to avoid a pool if I see something wrong with the stats. If you hide the stats, I'm in the blind.

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:09]
then go to another pool and let yourself be cheated, but I'll keep doing as before with statistic from others or not
Minerentry is fair and stays that way

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:09]
sorry thats my baby

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 19:09]
You didn't actually reply WHY you 're doing this.

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:10]
ok

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:10]
i will say it

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:10]
give me 2 min i have to translate

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 19:10]
ok

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:12]
I wanted to make the pool anonymous because zero is also anonymous, the pool should have all the important functions that are necessary so that every single miner can calculate his statistics and knows if he earns more or less. and it should be something special, a little bit underground, so far nobody has complained many find the pool even beautiful,

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:13]
you know me and know who I am, my name is not forgetop or suprnova, or mining.pools

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:14]
Minerentry is supposed to be a company, do you think I'm risking that, well, why do you think I made the pool two months ago, even though he ran incredibly well so as not to hurt my name

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:15]
I had too little time therefore

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:17]
you can really relax

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:17]
😂

ConstantinGR, [28.01.18 19:21]
Look, just because nobody has complained it doesn't mean anything to me. I always dig below the surface and I don't care how things look like. I have a scientific training and this is what I follow always. So I don't mind about people, I mind about their actions. I have nothing against suprnova, so I exposed his lies without any fear. I found the way to make optiminer work with nvidias, and I shared it without thinking it would hurt my own mining hash. I also helped towards exposing the cheat that Demarsac announced yesterday. So this is who I am. If I feel something is not right, I am telling it right away in your face, without caring if you were rigthful so far or not. I know you were, but your public affection towards tearo and you sudden cease of the pool are two things to worry about. Furthermore, as I explained to you, if anyone wishes anonymity, they should pick a new address and nobody will find out. As you know, t addresses are not really anonymous so you don't really ensure any anonymity, since if someone wants to dig into your rewards, they can use zeroexploer.

Anyway, as you said, it's your business and your choice. You won't have my support this way though.

Cheers

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:25]
Man, I made the pool because I'm in the hospital and still, I had too little time in the beginning, and before anything goes wrong, I prefer to end it. I used only for tearo because I got my coins back, actually was tearo with a reason why I made the pool, because the block explorer was not running and I heard nothing more of tearo, that seemed strange to me

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:25]
i closed the pool

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:26]
Man, I closed the pool because I'm in the hospital and still, I had too little time in the beginning, and before anything goes wrong, I prefer to finish it. I used only for tearo because I got my coins back, actually was tearo with a reason why I have closed the pool, because the block explorer was no longer running and I heard nothing more of tearo, that seemed strange to me

I respect you and think it's good that you are committed, but please i do the same

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:46]
no problem constantine, it's your free decision, maybe we'll see each other again if the pool runs long enough and you can see all that is old without any statistic of others. You are always welcome to me, I am not mad at you, but already disappointed. all the best to you

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:15]
I had too little time therefore

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:17]
you can really relax

Cheers

Man, I made the pool because I'm in the hospital and still, I had too little time in the beginning, and before anything goes wrong, I prefer to end it. I used only for tearo because I got my coins back, actually was tearo with a reason why I made the pool, because the block explorer was not running and I heard nothing more of tearo, that seemed strange to me

minerentry.com, [28.01.18 19:25]
i closed the pool

I respect you and think it's good that you are committed, but please i do the same

no problem constantine, it's your free decision, maybe we'll see each other again if the pool runs long enough and you can see all that is old without any statistic of others. You are always welcome to me, I am not mad at you, but already disappointed. all the best to you

Congratulations,

but that underlines your utter mental impotence.
You should write that if you have already published interviews that you have provoked this completely, and the way you try to help shows just what you are a weak head

And right, I stand by what I write, pool was closed because I'm in the hospital and because the block explorer did not work and I heard nothing more from tearo. absolutely right.

that with suprnova is not a new story that you pay much less than other pools Smiley

that's what you've already told me, to tearo I can say that he still he has not reported, has more decency and professionalism than you will ever have
and thank you for publishing this, so you said what I think
and by the way you are doing advertising for the community pool  Grin Grin

PRIVATE POOLS that really wish to help this project can OPTIONALLY do the same and also send 1% in the below community address
t1XpvXbN3UoBZf4yEsmz3oQt9UGp2TCEUu3

Thanks everybody and happy mining

DM

I tried the community pool and it looks very stable and notably, my average hashrate was higher than in every other pool.

The problem is the low number of miners/total hashrate, which is not enough to eliminate the issue of "luck", in other words to be more reliable in terms of finding blocks.

I have a proposition towards other miners: Let's agree all together to switch to the community pool on a specific time and stay there for some time to see how it goes. If people reply here or on telegram, I am willing to switch my rigs to the community pool at the agreed time.

I also have a proposition towards Demarsac: ALL POOLS should COMPULSORILY contribute that 1% fee to the community address and add their own fee on top. It may sound a little authoritarian, but since there is no other source of income to support zero development and support, I suggest that this drastic measure would help and that in the long run will benefit everybody, miners, pool owners and the whole community.

When do you propose we try to switch?

Shame on you!

You still support someone who STOLE a fund that was meant to help Zero development.
He claimed to return it or part of it and he never did. The proof is out there in ZeroExplorer.
Stealing and running away is decency and professionalism, right?

As for "interviews", you probably don't even know the meaning of the word. There are better tools than Google translator, I guess.
I dare you to show me these interviews.

Yes, I promote the community pool because as I explained, it will help Zero grow. It is the only realistic source of funds right now.

So it is acceptable for you to advertise your own pool but the community pool should stay in the dark, hey! Nice double standards!

As for names such as "mental impotence" and "weak head", they just validate your complete lack of reasoning and valid arguments.

Perhaps your nickname should be "loco" instead. I hope they cure you in that hospital you are, because there is definitely something wrong with you. Better to focus on your recovery...

Is the community pool down?

No. It was never down since launch

DM

I found out why the pool looks like it's down. Other users verified it as well.

It's because the pool link only works as "pool.zero-currency.com".
If you copy/paste the link from your browser or from within an app, the link appears as "https://pool.zero-currency.com" and this link does not work, as it returns a 502 error.

I think this should be fixed, as it makes people think the pool is not working.

1) Minerentry pool is good and fair, but not enough hash similar with community pool at this time.
2) All people should be work together to make Zero bigger
3) Miners need money, they will stay at pool more profit (although maybe these pools not fair)

No you are not. Check out BTCZ. They already have dedicated branded Android wallet and branded GUI miner. Very cohesive development team. Uses pure Equihash not modified like Zero. Best Equihash coin.

Don't rush into conclusions and please don't spread fud.

Zero stands out of the competition exactly because of the modified algorithm, which offers significant advantages:

1) faster transactions
2) fewer electricity expenses for miners; gpus get also colder compared to mining any other coin, ensuring longer life
3) cannot be mined by a significant proportion of gpus with low mem/ older gen, this way allowing mining to be more profitable since many farms with 4GB gpus prefer not to mine Zero.

These are true technical hard-coded advantages and not just some temporary factors.

On the other hand, the modified algorithm makes it harder to implement wallets and miners that are otherwise easily available for all other zcash forks.
So you can't compare BitcoinZ with Zero, as BitcoinZ is just another zcash fork, without any true differentiation.

Features such as new miners and wallets are on Zero's roadmap. If they don't get released on time, then yes, you are very welcome to criticize.

Don't forget that Zero was abandoned and just taken over around the end of November, so it is too early and since it is only traded in a small exchange, price manipulations by whales are not surprising.

I know you hold a bag of BitcoinZ and you are actively promoting it, but try to understand the issues I explained above and keep from shilling BitcoinZ here.

That's sounds very good for them
Did you also go to every single other equihash coin to make the same statement?

I guess not....

I wonder why that is

Im guessing that poster has a decent stash of the coin he is trying to promote hehe. Not the best tactic, but maybe he gets one or two to look at his coin.
Not me though Smiley Sounds like a pure clone, not much to brag about.
