not because of crypto currency, even now the industry is developing very rapidly, crypto currencies are not the cause of the growing business, the source of the problem is people who abuse this crypto currency, like a knife that will be useful if used for good things vice versa

Well, marijuana is not typical food like tomatoes, bananas, bangers and other. Marijuana  is much more close to medicine for using like a medical preparation. As far as I know marijuana is prohibited almost in all countries so the shadow market is huge I think. I am sure that there is quite well and stable demand on marijuana therefore the legalization of marijuana has tremendous financial potential for those who invest in this venture.

if its use can be monitored then legalization will definitely occur. but the government cannot monitor it in full, there will always be drug abuse, but legalized or not this business will continue to run and maybe the blockchain will help this business in the future

The question is not if weed industry will be good for cryptocurrencies future but will cryptocurrencies want to be tied to the word marijuana. I know weed is now legal in many places all around the world but it is still holding a lot of troubles in many countries as well and even in the countries it is accepted as legal there are people who do not like it and wish it wasn't legal.

Hence crypto is already remembered as the "money laundering, mercenary purchasing, darknet using" thing and if we want to get our name with weed together that may not have the professional outlook we want. We are fine with our little SEC accepting the ETF, bakkt doing stuff and wall street liking it and so forth, that way we can look professional and be fine, but weed would make it too liberal once again.
