I promise we're not waiting without a good reason Smiley

We have multiple algos ready to go that are all very promising + an anti-asic algorithm generator built by our devs that can create hundreds of algos/second

Hmmm... and which mining program would we use to do all that algo switching? Why not just switch to Cryptonight Heavy like Sumokoin and be done with it? The longer DERO waits to fork off the ASICs the more miners/supporters it will lose... including me, because I won't support a project where 99% of the hashrate is used to immediately sell coins at whatever the bid is, and that is exactly what most ASIC miners do.

i do not like cryptonight heavy, because i try to mine it with new versions of Claymore GPU and Xmrig CPU and it have 100% rejected shares. Only XMR-stack works with it, but i do not like this miner. So i do not like cryptonight heavy. Pleace, make Dero compatible with Claymore and XMRig CPU.

We are working and evaluating all options and reasons including above.

They are disabled at my personal request while we update the go daemon. I can assure you that Capt is the furthest thing you will find from a crook.

The exchanges will have an update very soon and you can feel free to trade openly then. I'm sure your prodigious mining operation can survive a few days.

Practically speaking, there's really only 2 choices of Cryptonight variants for DERO: Cryptonight Heavy or Cryptonight v7 (ie - what Monero went with). Anything else - unless an existing algo - will all but guarantee the coin is abandoned because there won't be any mining software for it.

I currently use xmr-stak because it performs the best, but I agree it is difficult to optimize. Also note that Heavy hashes slower, but everyone will be affected by this slowdown the same in percentage terms so once difficulty adjusts for the lower total network hashrate earnings should be very similar to before the ASIC invasion.

Theoretically, anyway!  Grin

We have been working to make Dero the most resilient blockchain and we are now getting the daemon ready for exchanges
in this moment the price on stocks is highly manipulate and it is no good for the project.
There is very little volume and as I mentioned in Slack, it's not unrealistic to expect to see some people who would like liquidity when the exchanges come online.

We stand behind what we say: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/8acg3j/dero_is_calling_out_network_attackers/

If you have truly been following Dero you will know that our team is writing a brand new blockchain technology from scratch and things take a little bit of time.

What different between this coin and Bytecoin (which build on cryptonote and anonymous as well) ? Do you planning to list your coin to better exchanges?

This coin looks promising with a pretty low supply for the first few years and a clear plan for 2018 with the protocol rewrite and more private smart contracts etc.

DERO: Privacy + Smart Contracts
Dero has written its own blockchain completely from scratch and we are on our blockchain now.
DERO is completely new CryptoNote blockchain in Golang.
DERO is first blockchain to have complete SSL in P2P layer.
DERO will be first CryptoNote blockchain to have 500 Transactions Per Seconds on its native blockchain without any lightning networks or validators or off-blockchain solutions.
DERO will be first CryptoNote blockchain to have smart contracts on its native chain without any extra layers or secondary blockchains.

How to join DERO Network in 2 mins?
Choose your OS and arch(32/64 bit) from MacOS,FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux, Windows, Solaris, Raspberry Pi or any arm device etc. and download pre-compiled binaries from http://seeds.dero.io/alpha/
Start derod* and wait for sync around 20-60 mins depending on Network and CPU speed.
In Parallel start dero-wallet* and using menu create DERO address and save your seed.
Use exchange or join any pool for mining.

How to shift on new DERO blockchain:
Choose your OS and arch(32/64 bit) from MacOS,FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux, Windows, Solaris,Raspberry Pi or any arm device etc. and download pre-compiled binaries from http://seeds.dero.io/alpha/
Start derod* and wait for sync around 20-60 mins depending on Network and CPU speed.
Parallely start dero-wallet* and using menu re-create DERO wallet using old wallet seed.

WHY DERO AND WHY SMART CONTRACTS NEED PRIVACY ?
In very simple and few words:
Assume you design a smart contract and integrate to access/authorize a building/open a door or any other service like asset-management/tickets/shares distribution based on smart contract.
Many would not like like to share/view details of all other users/customers who used/participated/access that contract/service.
I hope you too would like transparency in contract details but would not like to share/disclose your details to rest of the world.
On DERO blockchain smart contracts details are transparent on blockchain but not user details.

New wallet in action.
The new wallet is menu based so there is no need for commands

Good morning, I still have problems with transfers that have not hit me yet, I have not yet contacted the exchange because I wanted to see if with the images that I show you can guide me to do with the transactio hash. I have already scanned the entire blockchain and my balance wallet is not reflected, so I do not know where those coins are and in the exchange I do not have them either.

Thank you very much for your help in what you can.

Hi Cap/Serena,

I've been absent for a few weeks, just getting back online and catching up on Dero. Are we already swapping old DERO for new DERO by opening on the new daemon and wallet? Thanks.
