In a discussion with a colegue of mine, where there was me trying to explain to him dero Network is superior, he was hitting it hard that Matrix AI Network, has AI, and 12500 TPS capability allready proven on its main net.

So i am asking, how is DERO planning to scale to reach higher TPS, we would Need aprox 100k TPS to replace VISA for example.
But another question is, are really TPS a good metric here in the case of DERO, where its BlockDAG infrastructure is imune to latency, and those blocks can stack on each other indefinetly ? I mean, there would be no way you could flood the Network with Transaction, right ? the blocks would be stacked on top of another, and it wouldnt matter if Transactions wont be fitted in a single block, simply more blocks would be created simultaneously. and stack on top of each other.

And if the block time decreases, which it can, it is all the more irrelevant....

Or am i seeing it wrong ?

You are correct, TPS is not a good metric and Dero is not aiming to replace VISA at the moment. None of the PoW cryptocurrencies can do it now and PoS is not proven yet, the market cap shows it. Dero offers sufficient TPS to compete with the best PoW coins and also brings to the table unique technological solutions to real world problems, description of which can be found in its Whitepaper
Most of the known methods to increase TPS can be implemented on Dero if needed.

I found a block but the wallet shows zero balance

wait for sometime meanwhile issue "show_transfers"  to see transaction.

Nothing there. Either the wallet or the blockchain are broken. Fix it asap or nobody will mine. I stopped after seeing no rewards from 2 blocks.

Can you pls issue following 4 commands
1] status        command in your daemon
2] refresh  command in your wallet
3] show_transfers    command in your wallet
4]  balance     command  in wallet

Also you have to wait 20 blocks or  more ~ an hour to get unlocked balance.
