The Abyss digital distribution platform will run the poll for a tap increase on August 10th, at 0:00 UTC. Voting will be available during 72 hours at Etherscan.io. The current monthly tap is 750 ETH, and the goal that we’re setting is to increase it to 1125 ETH.

im just thinking its all because BTC price on market
its not for Abyss only , too many cheap altcoins because bitcoin prices are bad

I think DAICO will get wider adoption soon, I would say it even has some elements of 'regulation' which traditional ICOs  don't have at all.
so I'm personally positive about this project and the model in general
