Haven't been able to access the site since yesterday evening.

   http://www.btc-poolwatch.com/

It's a nice little way to compare mining stats on different pools.  That is, when it's up.  I've only been using it for a week or so.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

hi,

yah, the server is down and seems like there's a network problem affecting a few racks. (I ride this website on a VPS so there's no additional cost to me.)

It has been down for 3+ hours (as of now). damn.

The server is up. Sorry for that.

That was one of the worst/longest downtime I've experienced with this service provider.
