Anyone using MSI Z170a PC MATE Motherboard?


I got a great deal on it, searching revealed nothing, is anyone using one?


Please note it is the "PC MATE", not gaming, version; it has 2 PCI-E (x16) and 3 PCI-E (x1) slots

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Yes it works, but I'm only running 3 cards in it (the first thing I did was flash the bios).

It's practically the similar MoBo as MSI Z170Pro but instead of additional PCI-e slot it has two PCI slots. Pro version supports up to 7 GPUs (with using of M.2 slot) So MATE version should buy if it's really very cheap
