I like Iota a lot, not as much that it was part of my portfolio but it is always on my watchlist. That said, this recent price increase is hardly organic, just one of those sheer luck of the mill runs that every alt has on its day. Either way, entry now is only for long-term holders. I will wait for 2018 and a dip below $4 to get myself some Iota. Great project no doubt, but the roadmap is years in the making and won't show distinct form well into second half of next year.

Besides, which alt can stop now with Bitcoin leading the way?

it certainly is a good time to sell IOTA and take profit since there has been a huge rise but it doesn't mean it is the end of the rise. you can take some profit out to be safe and not lose all the opportunities in case things went south. and you keep some of it also to sell if the rise continued.

also don't forget that there are lots of dips after a rise like this. you can use each one of these dips to buy more IOTA. these are the corrections during a pump.
