So... when to buy Bitcoin? Now.. as it's about to hit $13,000, or wait for a slump?

I really like turtles to be honest. So i picked turtles.

But regarding the question, best time to buy is when the price goes down. Now i cannot tell you an exact date, or the best speculation since a lot has already stated great amd reasonable speculations as to when to buy. But the moat important thing is, to not be too greedy. When the price drops, don't wait too much for deeper price drops. Set a margin and stick to it. But make it realistic as possible.

Hope this helps, goodluck op

in a difficult situation to think and difficult to predict something .... look for something real and that's when you start doing something as well in buying bitcoin ..... do bitcoin purchases at the time the price goes down and sell it at the time the price goes up then profit will we get.

Difficult to know, but if you are with money stopped, you have to buy it. I just do not buy because unfortunately for me it's not possible

Anytime is a good time to buy as long as you are going to hodl your coin. The price of the coin will definitely go up the next months and it is better if you are going to invest on it while the price is still "low". Better decide now or regret it at the end.

Everyone would tell you to buy immediately but what if you don't have enough money to invest yet? Though the rise of the said crypto had been incredible very recently, it is not a good reason to completely forget about bankroll management and having a good entry point in the market. Waiting for a slight correction is a great opening opportunity all in all, and it wouldn't hurt to buy during a dip too.

Well, some may advise you to wait for a while maybe till when there is a correction before you buy but putting it to you that you may end up waiting in vain because there may not be any serious correction in the coming days. So i will advise you to buy now that Bitcoin market value is still below $13,000 before is too late.

of course we wait for the price slump, then we wait until the price soared again, if it has reached $ 13,000 as now means that the capital we spend is too big.

I think you should wait a little bit more cause at the moment Bitcoin price is going down, maybe there will be a big dump soon and Bitcoin price will dump to under 12k$ in the next day I think. You just need to be patient cause Bitcoin price is not increasing all the time Smiley. Before Bitcoin can reach to 15k$ at the end of this year I believe that there will be few more dump and you should catch the right time to buy it Smiley

Rather than drive yourself nuts with anxiety watching the price, do yourself a favor and switch to a dollar cost averaging strategy, it has served me well over the last three years both with massive gains and far less stress than those trying to time the market.

Agreed, and it's especially true for those trying to get rich with altcoins and ICOs, there's way too many people jumping on board these things with little to no understanding of how they work and how to financially evaluate the worth of these things, the recent Gnosis scam is a great example of mindless speculation.

I don't time at all. I just recognize where I have the money that I want to put into it, and then just buy it at the price it's at, at that time. Same for btc purchases.
If you're confident in the use-case of bitcoin, it really matters little when individual exchanges happen.

Do that, and if you're feeling more advanced implement an Optimal Growth Strategy based on the Kelly Criterion. If you're not a die-hard, never-sell hodler, of course.

As someone who can't afford a ton of Bitcoin I am hesitant to do this because of the miner fees. Having to pay miners fees from the exchange to my wallet and then back to the exchange can be a decent percentage of profits when you have to do this multiple times.

There is no real need to DCA, especially with concerns re: high tx fees.
Just wait to see a slight fall in price - not long, not wait for a big crash, just a little dip from the absolute top prices - then buy, and wait a few years. Guaranteed gain unless you bought at the peak of a +300-1000%-price-appreciation-in-~2-months-bubble.
