2018 is the year of cryptocurrency. in the previous year cryptocurrency only in the know by people who understand about the internet. now people who still lay about cryptocurrency have started to learn about cryptocurrency. because it's been a lot of success in crypto and they also want to succeed in crypto.

And I think this year is the beginning of altcoin to be known of many user of cryptocurrency and become good coin that you can have soon. Last year was a bitcoin breakthrough. Few have expected it to increase in value 13-fold. I don't think this year it repeats its success and surpasses the $150k mark. There is only one cryptocurrency I’m aware of today, bringing some really cool technology into the space: DIVI.

Cryptocurrency is better than FIAT in several ways:

-More secure, especially due to the decentralized/trustless factor. Digital ledger technology is virtually impregnable by attackers. The system is so complex that the attacker has to perform multiple attacks on multiple devices at once.

-Much lower fees than fiat. Nearly free, basically.

Really those are just a few of the main reasons, but overall cryptocurrencies are far superior in speed, cost and security than any fiat currency.

What else sets DIVI apart? Divi has a stated goal of mass adoption and the founders claim they want to make cryptocurrency as easy to use as paypal. Divi was created in order to address a number of the perceived barriers to mass adoption by the general public; Among those are speed, scalability and ease of use. Among the advisors of the team are Former CSO of Yahoo! Tim Sanders, and technologist Ramez Naam.

Divi utilizes a proof of stake protocol. The proof-of-stake system was designed to address vulnerabilities that could occur in a pure proof-of-work system. We hope so but for all altcoins become green again, this red zone taking too long. People will chose what the best for them even look's impossible but never give up is the best option. Just protect your asset and try forex market for alternative, similar but with 2 direction activity, something old for new income.

after taking this one year duration, the fact that 2018 is not an altcoin year, almost all cryptoqurencies have experienced price declines to date. I think next year is a good start for cryptoqurency regrowth.

 i agree . 2018 is definetly the year for altcoin because almost all of them is experiencing a price decline and investors are happy with it , thats the main reason why they call 2018 a year for altcoins however  altcoins are not the only one that experiencing a price reductions because even bitcoin and other tokens like erc20 are also on the list  .  

meanwhile , let us hope that this incoming 2019 will now be a year for cryptos to make a comeback because many people do already lost alot of thier capital .

Looking back 2018 was the year of the demise of the altcoin the majority crashed to 90 or even 99% of their former values. Let's hope that when we see the next Bull run perhaps early in 2019 that they make an equally strong recovery.

We take the positive side. If the decline occurs almost 90% then the chance for an increase will be 90% as well. Moreover, the current price is quite angry, if our analysis is good and choose a potential altcoin then when prices bounce we will get a profit.

Smile, I was surprised reading this earlier not untill i’m Done reading it where I noticed, it’s an old topic. Altcoin and Bitcoin, they all turned down when it comes to value these days.
