To me, I prefer holding lisk, qtum and pivx....
I also like emc2 too but there was a time ago, I knew emc2 will fly but I have no funds to buy it then...
Is better for you to buy baby coins with small satoshi and can easily fly...

Best coins in terms of price growth or technological adoption, I think this is subjective in my opinion, i have seen some cabbage coins in the space valuad very highly by the market and you ask yourself why some projects are valued very low

It is always better to keep ethereum based tokens on ledger nano. Because it is more safe comparing with others. People say that myetherwallet is safe, possible but anyway you connect to myetherwallet online so anything can happen.

ETH is the best token because of it's great platform, can have a exchange by importing only the address and private key at etherdelta then everything is very easy to use. I still hoping that ETH will have the same value as BTC.

For the wallet I like most blockchain and Myetherwallet and for Coins I will go for Steller, IOTA, Bitshares , PeerCoin, ,Tezos, Dogecoin, Ethereum Classic, And I will suggest you to invest some of your capital in Bitcoin and Ether because Bitcoin is the mother currency of all crypto currency bitcoin is ever green crypto and for Ether , Ether rose more than 50% in last 1 Month and now a days many ico comming and they using Ether platform so Ether demand will go high in coming days.

except bitcoin, I am holding Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano, Waves, Stratis and DeepOnion in my bag. I have take more profit from them, especially Ripple and Cardano, and i think it will keep rising next year.
If you want to hold for long-term you can buy a hardware wallet as LEdger nano S, it is safe to store your coins, no one can steal or hack them when you unplug the wallet from your computer
