Given the limited supply by its design it is an illiquid asset, so spreading it thinly across multiple venues simply makes more illiquid, and as most volume will be on the sell side initially, this simply leads to more downward pressure.

Also, keep in mind, CoinMetro has a specific strategy in place for the long-term stability of the XCM price, see here; https://coinmetro.com/whitepaper/#long-term. This strategy is not as effective if we allow the token to be traded on external platforms.
