Only, few hours ago price was at 15550 USD and at this time Bitcoin has crossed 17100 USD. All these things have put Bitcoin under many question, like such a tremendous growth is taking place and will it survive or burst. All the things which used to happen in alt coin like pumping and dumping might take place in Bitcoin. But bitcoin cannot be called into a scam coin, a scam coin is where developers turn their back and run away with the money but in the case of Bitcoin it is completely decentralized and cannot be turned down until all the miners work for Bitcoin.

It cannot really, the rise of its price is due to many reasons of course because a lot of demands nowadays as people are now hooked with this kind of crypto. Because the price is really high doesn't mean that bitcoin is a scam it is not an accurate reason to accuse like that, if it is a scam for sure is not existing now.

I strongly disagree with you that Bitcoin has turned into a scam coin. If its price continues to soar it's because lot people are adopting and investing in it every day. Certainly Bitcoin is not a scam, it has already proven you are not scam. There were people who blamed Bitcoin for balloons, I was very angry with them, but now I give them rights. Because Bitcoin is now out of its reach, everyone gets Bitcoin to make money without getting tired.

If you want to sent bitcoin faster, just select higher fees in order to get it on the first or second block and you should be fine. Of course that you must be prepared to pay high fees in order to get priority, but if it is urgent then it might be worth it. Also don't forget that the number of outputs also influences the fees you pay, so you must take that into consideration.

As for the trades, I don't know what you are talking about. As far as I know, when you are trading you are not really making transactions, otherwise exchanges would be paying huge amount of fees, and that wouldn't work. I'm sure they keep the transaction internal, and they only make real transactions when they really need to. So if you are blocked it's not because of the bitcoin network, and the problem should be on the side of the exchange.

As for hacks, they happen all the time and on a lot of areas. Of course bitcoin exchanges are very attractive for hackers, because there is a lot of money there, but the reports on big exchanges being hacked has been quite small these days.

I don't know were all this bitcoin rage is coming from, but I think you should reconsider what you are saying, because if you think well, you can't support any of the accusations you made.

I can understand your pain but understand that things are yet in the development phase and not a fine product at this point but since more and more people are realising the potential of it, they are pouting their money in it with the expectations of earning multifold returns for their investment. Even you know that Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme and how it works so it's better to keep calm wait for the development. I am not underestimating the alt-coins but blaming Bitcoin just for the sake of alt-coins is not a good idea in my opinion.

I don’t think Bitcoin is a scam but I agree about the transaction times. I have one unconfirmed for more than a day so I am frustrated about that too. They will eventually get confirmed. Sometimes it’s slower than others. I’ve said in the past that Bitcoin needs to get this figured out or Bitcoin could level off in price and other altcoins that have faster transaction times and lower fees could pass Bitcoin in market cap. I think Bitcoin could still be worth a lot as just a store of value.

I bought Bitcoin today and the transaction was confirmed immediately! I disagree with you, calling bitcoin a ponzi scheme as you may not have read bitcoin's white paper to know what Bitcoin stand for. I have been reading comments from those that have little knowledge on how bitcoin works and the way to trade it successfully and one thing that I have find out is that " They did not know the price that has been paid by Bitcoin enthusiasts in other to put bitcoin's image at were it is today" I think ponzi schemes are those investment platform that does not normally last more than a year and scaming sites has a link from the beneficiary But bitcoin has proof not to be any of this.

So, if you call it a scam or ponzi scheme, no one who has invested into it for the last 2-3 years that held their coins till this year/now will say that bitcoin is a scam. This is the problem about bitcoin transactions too long sometimes it took more than 48 hours to confirm the transactions. Also, the fees are huge when sending, when the price of bitcoin skyrocket problem do exists and did'nt get resolved. But we cannot say it is scam bitcoin exists still.

This is the problem about bitcoin transactions too long sometimes it took more than 48 hours to confirm the transactions. Also, the fees are huge when sending, when the price of bitcoin skyrocket problem do exists and did'nt get resolved. But we cannot say it is scam bitcoin exists still.

maybe the long term of the transaction depends on the amount of Bitcoin? if I recently spent quite a few coins, the transactions lasted only two or three hours.

Ability to trade doesn't depend from transaction speed. When you trade on exchange you don't move your bitcoin.

If exchanges  being hacked - its problem of the central exchanges and their security  but not currency.
You dont understand at all  how bitcoin work. Bitcoin it's not just currency or technology, it's much more on it.

because the fact is bitcoin getting bullish and people who don't know what it was before and even government and almost all of media expose about bitcoin, then it's volatile in short.
that's what makes the network traffic been high.
So, if you want to be the priority one, you need to send your bitcoin with higher fee.
