To be honest its really hard now to predict what will be price cuz price is changing every hour day by day and its now very possible that price could reach this mark or higher or it may drop. Its small chances for that but this could be also a possibility for single bitcoin.

Believe that many want for price to reach and surpass 30k by this year end but think that when this happen price will rapidly go down.

Personally, It was quite surprising me. The price of bitcoin increasing so mush fast where already cross 14k$ as well as it's contentiously increasing. Personally, I thought may be the price of bitcoin hit 10k$ by the end of 2017 but after seeing the price of bitcoin my mind was change now i think may be it 20k$!!

It is not really surprising to me that the price of bitcoin reaches to 15k usd. For now it is really hard to predict the price before january 2018 as the price of bitcoin ia increasing everyday. Perhaps if people keep holding their bitcoin it will continue to rise to its peak.

As expected bitcoin price is doing its progress. Earlier it was predicted, bitcoin will reach $10000 by the end of this year, but bitcoin crossed it a month before. By end of December it is expected to cross $18000 or $20000 mark. It is answer to all the discussions which are running since one year, "Bitcoin is a bubble", "Bitcoin is a hoax" etc. If bitcoin continues with such a pace than John McAfee`s prediction will come true earlier than expected. Let's wait and watch.

yes the bitcoin has reached $ 15000 and it has increased. Surprisingly and the speed actually increased the price of bitcoin. But it quickly drops and I think bitcoin will increase in the next few days because the Christmas bonus and I'm sure that many of us buy bitcoin.

As long as bitcoin will sit at above $10,000, I don't mind not reaching $20,000 above before the end of the year. Just looking at how the price increase in just few days, we are being compensated on our patience of holding our bitcoin. If ever our desired target for let's say $20,000 before year end or $30,000 by January will not reached then no worries since we have reasons to believed that it will happened soon.

Speculations will remained speculations until it isn't happened yet. The good thing about those speculations is, this brought positive views about bitcoin resulting for new investors coming to get involved in the trend.

Me either, the price has grown too much with my expectation and I'm very satisfied with it so I did sold some at $15,000 and still kicking to hold some of my btc. But with the end of the year, I'm not that greedy at all as long it will be having a floor of $15,000 that should be fine.

And we're actually a lot further up with the pricing now on the major Korean exchange Bithumb. Honestly this is amazing to see and i definitely regret selling off any bitcoins before the $10k mark was hit, i still regret that to this day lol.

It'll be interesting to see though whether this can be sustained for a longer amount of time.

Obviously, you have to expect some corrections to happen. But how far those corrections can go is the question here. This is happening all in a very short timeframe and has outpaced any pumps for the last few months, i'm actually a bit worried by it.

Remember the bitcoin price just increase from 13k to 17k just in some days. That means to reach $20 is really possible in this month before the end of the year and that will have reached at least 0ver 20k in my opinion. We are still having a lot of the time to see that. This time the price was stable around 16k

This is very difficult to predict, it was a very big surprise for me to go to the coinmarketcap and see the price is $16000 and even now if anyone sees the price of the coinmarketcap and the price of bittrex has a very big difference. After December 18th it will be easier to make the price forecast, but I will do my forecast anyway. In my opinion the price of bitcoin will be  $18000

Conservatively, I am going with the $20k mark now we are just a day or two away from CBOE with its Bitcoin futures. I however wouldn't be upset if we happen to go down from this point due to profit taking and such.

It will happen when current price has the soon to be listed future markets already calculated in. It's something the majority of the people here don't think about, but may be the hard reality.

People most of the times just assume that the price will continue to go up, but these growth rates aren't healthy anymore. It would be a welcome happening if the market takes a step or two back to regain strength.

True, the fact that when we are selling before with the current price which is the ATH at that moment, we are happy about that gain. But when we see the price starts to raise up and we are remembering those past transactions of selling that we made, we are feeling so sorry about it. Bitcoin price will continue to go up with small ratio of market fluctuation from time to time. Many people are currently investing into bitcoin and many more are still yet to come.

Now the price is getting decrease and i think this is because of nicehash confirmed that they hacked almost $60 million hacked from their wallet..

Pretty good argument but this dont need to be the case that price for single bitcoin will come to 30k. For me 20k is realistic and more tempting to reach by if price goes up and climbing like it was with last few month then we could see price of 30k if off course follow the same pattern.

People have been predicting/expecting corrections to happen, but thus far we have only seen the price go up significantly. If we look at how much new funds flow into this market on a daily basis, it only indicates further growth despite people analyzing the market and thinking it will correct. Honestly, it would somewhat make sense to correct, but at the same time, it also makes sense to go up further, which makes this market more unpredictable than ever before. If you want to cash out some profits, then stick to just 10-20%, and keep holding the rest to see where we go from here. It will allow you to benefit from the market going up and down at the same time.

the thing about bitcoin is that everything is happening in it fast. the rise is fast and the drop/correction is also fast. it shouldn't last a year to call it a "correction" it can simply be a couple of days or a week of dropping and consolidation before it is over.
and that is what happened after the ridiculous rise to $19k. the price did drop and that was the correction. it was a little less than the common 30% panic dump.

You are probably right that we will see price reaching if not breaching 20k but for the moment is seem stable at this 17k range.

Many professional crypto traders already predicted this price level a few months back, but they never expected that this price level will be coming at lightning speed. Now it has been tough for the predictors to predict whether how much price will it attain by the year 2017 end and how much time will it take to reach over there. But yes I can say that it will touch to $20,000 by the year ends.
