I think you should start by investing directly in Bitcoin and then choose to either be an trader in the alternate coins.

Do you really buy Bitcoin as the price is so high? At the beginning, I suggest taking part in campaigns and collecting Altcoin. Then exchange for Bitcoin. It requires patience ...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Being a part of survey campaign is the best way to start bitcoin. You can be into the bitcoin by any means ,just u have to invest into it and the profit is yours. Bitcoin is now a days a god of money from where you can mint money with a very faster rate. To my personal view I started my bitcoin journey by joining a survey campaign because I am at my initial stage and did not have much money to invest but if you have sufficient money then just simply buy a bitcoin and hold it till it's valuation increases, so be into the bitcoin there are many ways ,so be into one and enjoys bitcoining.

Hello,

Try to invest some money, or try to buy bitcoin and exchange it or sell when the price of bitcoin is raising. Or if you don't have any money to produce try to search about job orders that pays you bitcoin, and also read more articles about bitcoin.
Invest and trading bitcoin is the best  to earn money because the value is increasing so high. Joining in bounty campaign is one source to earn bitcoin by posting.

Hi,

I am afraid I know relatively little about Bitcoin, but it is something that I would like to know more about.  While I appreciate that I have largely "missed the bus", I feel it is something still worth learning about and possibly investing in for the long term.

Could anyone kindly give me any advice on how to get started with learning about Bitcoin please?

Thank you.

I guess you just need to spend some time reading reading in this bitcointalk forum. much knowledge you can get. and I think knowledge is something very important in the crypto world.

I agreed with you. Every one of us here starts by reading, researching and exploring bitcoin. You need to have a sufficient knowledge about bitcoin first before you start investing bitcoins. For now, just explore this thread, read some topics that you think may help you and ask some members for help. Thats the first thing I did when I was a newbie in bitcoin.
Try bitcoin as well. Open a wallet buy a little bit of bitcoin (for $15-$20) and try to send it to another wallet. That will teach you how to use wallets, how to transfer, what are the important things that you need to know if you want to do a successful transaction (especially in situations like this one today, when the mempool is full again and you have to use 400 sat/B fees to create a transaction if you want a confirmation in an hour time...)
So don't worry about it, you will learn from your own experience, but that's better than 2-3 days of  reading...

Definitely still worth learning, if you feel you missed the bus though.... Many people have said that only to realize it usually goes up bigger than ever.

I remember the days that i started to work bitcoin and i started with lack of knowledge from it. I search on Google, Facebook and other forums about Bitcoining. I always reading some articles that Bitcoin is the topic. Then i found that I need to earn satoshi and convert it to Bitcoin. I tried to earn free satoshis and after i converted it to bitcoin, I tried to invest it. But i suggest to you that you should hold your Bitcoins first and don't invest. It's very risky. Earn more.

I also felt nervous when I entered this forum, specially the cryptocurrency but instead of being afraid. I studied every part of it. I never cease to learn everyday. I learn new things in this forum. I kept on reading threads, searching different sites, watching every videos that tackles features of cryptocurrency. Until I found out that it is not to hard to go in the flow in this trend. So my advice is, don't be afraid to learn new things. Just bear in your mind that if you want something to reach, take some risks, be determined and have faith with God. Bitcoin is just a human made and everyone can adapt it.

I can give some tips on how to earn but you will not accomplish it without yourself alone. Understanding not reading of threads or topics posted in this forum will help you so much. You can learn new things by browsing your internet. You know what? Being a resourceful person is not a sin and as a learner we should have metacognitive thinking. I hope I help you even a little bit. Just keep on holding with bitcoins and this forum because these can change our status in life.

Explore this forum, read different threads, and that is how you could start with bitcoin. This forum contains all the knowledge that you should know about bitcoin, if you have another questions, then you could ask it on the thread, or you could even create your own thread, and if you feel that you have enough information to join signature campaigns to earn bitcoin, then you could join and start your journey here in the bitcoin world.

There are different ways though, if you didn't know about this forum, you could just simply google all the questions that you wanted to ask about bitcoin, and do the things that you know on how you could earn bitcoin.

Well said! How do we earn in bitcoin? Just always put L on earn when you will start. Learn different things by exploring this forum will help you a lot. You can in depth what you have read by searching the internet. Remember, nowadays, learning is in the air! We should take the opportunity that bitcoin comes in our lives and we must not let that opportunity to lose. Keep on studying hard about cryptocurrency and be patient and determined. Patience and determination are the key to success! Lastly, we have to put Lord in our earnings because if we have faith with him, he never let us alone. Goodluck brother!

To start with bitcoins, you should know about it of course, and for you to onow about it, you should read and read through different threads and topics for you to be knowledgeable about bitcoin. If you have read enough then you can start earning or buying so you can know how bitcoin goes.

Do your research. This is basic. Look                                          into anything and everything possible about Bitcoin or crypto currencies for that matter. In other words, you need to get your tools first before getting into anything. Test the water, don’t just dive in.

Best thing to do first is to do your research on this system.  Read this forum, check the social media, look into YouTube...Anything that can be a source of information to help you out in your new journey with crypto currencies. That's the most basic thing you need to do first so you will be guided accordingly.

If you talk about how to start earning bitcoin through bitcointalk then you better start reading threads, study and learn all about bitcoin. Ask something you did not know on some of the users with higher rank and do research in order to fully understand how this bitcoin forum community works. Yet if you do have some funds it is still not late to invest on some icos and earn bitcoin through it.

if you already know the basics then, you should install some app that alert you every time the bitcoin drops/rise its value. then think/research a way to increase your bitcoin in your wallet. you should not panic when it drops, just keep increasing your bitcoin.

Do not feel as a part of 'misses the bus' society because even at this stage less than 10% of the population of the world is aware of Bitcoin and hence there is a tremendous scope for the growth. You can start by reading and understanding about the Bitcoin in the Beginners & Help section. It is the best place to get initial information about Bitcoin for the newbies and eventually you can read articles, youtube videos and understand the market environment.

Thank you.
i suggest to research and ask people that uses bitcoin to collect information that you need don not depend too much on the forum answers cause sometime their answers are irrelevant to the question that they were answering. having or doing your own research about btc is good because we have different views or understanding about the topic.
