I'm using 0.96.3 with the latest bitcoind installed on ubuntu.

Armory will start and the main panel will say "Armory is online!" but sometimes I'll get a message that it is connected to Bitcoin Core and sometimes it will say "Connection to Bitcoin Core client lost".  Either way (even when it does manage to connect) there are only ~496000 blocks shown in the bottom right while there are ~498000 blocks right now.  Am I still able to send a trasaction or what do I need to do to get it to sync?  I don't notice the blocks increasing during the times that it's running and connected.
