Why the price of bitcoin increasing this rate? reached $14K in few hours

Nobody has the exact explanations, could be just guessing but in this case the high price causes high demand and vice versa. Recently Bitcoin has increased the popularity significantly and more and more users are coming into Bitcoin system. We can also see that more or less all altcoins are getting down which might be the sing that many users are switching majority of funds to Bitcoin.

I totally agree, nobody can actually define specific reasons for this price increase, hence why we can't accurately predict anything regarding Bitcoin's price in the future. It is truly astonishing to see Bitcoin surpass $15.000 today.

Today,I saw the price of bitcoin when I woke up it is at $14150.Maybe it creates a fear of price crash in the coming days.I just want to know why the price of bitcoin increasing at this rate?

I agree that on your opinion that bitcoin is really the biggest and the highest asset of all time right now, But for me i'm hoping that bitcoins price will hit $20000 on next year.But now I am assuming that bitcoin price may will hit $20000 on January 2018 or at the end of this year. And because people wants to get bitcoin or invest in it. Bitcoin supply is limited and it causes the price to increase. And the fluctuation of bitcoin is still raising, This rapid price increasing is happening due to many investors are selling their altcoins to buy bitcoin so the price of all altcoins are dumped even the price of ethereum is decreasing. And the price of bitcoin are increasing with a blink of an eye and has surpassed $ 14000 there are still high chances for the bitcoins to  go even higher due to high demand for the bitcoins and blockchain technology.

The reasons for the price increase is the free coin from the upcoming fork so people are converting their altcoins intoo bitcoin to get that free coin but the price is increasing so fast than ever if it continue at this rate we may expect the bitcoin price will hit $20K before 2018.

The price rise should be due to more users adopting and higher confidence in BTC. I am seeing BTC appearing in news every other days. The other reasons should be due to the free fork coins.

Whatever the reasons are, this is good news for us.

Looks like everybody so exited about CME futures for bitcoin. Are they planning the same for ethers? Don't understand why it so undervalued, with so many ERC20 tokens and strong community. Was happy to buy at 430, now 419. Whutt?? Will hodl definitely, but doesn't make sense to me.

For me i think it is because Christmas is coming so bitcoin is getting higher.  It is a gift from who is behind all of this and i think it will become more high in more days.

While doing trading always keep your eyes on literally everything as Current price for Buying and selling, 24 Hours Highest and Lowest, Buy wall and sell wall, Volume etc. This can clearly shows hows trading going on.

I checked most of time there are small amount with exact price are placed for sell, and in such cases if whale enters with interest in Bitcoin then they just take market up only, to finalize expected amount of BTC. In future same will continued to increase price of BTC against Fiat.
