Hi all,

I'm a newbie here, nice to meet you all.

I actually very briefly dabbled in crypto back in 2014. In hindsight I wish I'd stuck with it as my knowledge and perhaps investments could be pretty damn good by now  Grin

Just starting to get back into it as I'm looking for some long term investments and I'd love to get stuck into this properly this time.

Anyway, I have a question. I bought some Quark and Zeta coin back in 2014. I know there not amounting to much nowadays but I think it would be interesting to see how much I bought and maybe transfer it (if there's anything left) to some other altcoins. The problem is I no longer have the PC where the wallet for those coins were installed.

I do have a 14 character password written down (kept it safe in my bedside table drawer all these years!) but I've no idea what to do with it? I've downloaded and installed both wallets for the above mentioned coins, but I'm not sure how I can transfer the coins I had previously to this wallet as I see nowhere to enter a password. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks!

Calum

I could be wrong, but I think you would need your password AND wallet.dat file from the original...
