Bears have a plenty of good moments in this year, just remember all major dumps that we had.Imho in a long term cryptos will obviously win but some short term bear things are happen all the time. Don't treat them like loosers.

A bear is not sated by a drop that lasts a few hours. That's nothing but a prick tease and then it's back to being tortured by jolly price moves.

They thrive on black sheets of rain lashing all of us for months on end.

Litecoin super pump. Is this another late 2013? Too obvious but perhaps these things always are.

Double top definitely broken and now we are at all time highs again at $17400... bears lose again. Proudhon continues waiting to get back in at $15 a coin or whenever he sold his stack. Now we are going to see higher highs and this thread is already outdated. If you call a bear market, you CANNOT see an all time high after your call, your call gets invalidated the very second a new ATH is reached. Sorry OP, better luck next time.
Remember remember the 5th of November

Unrelated, but look at Microsoft's stock. It's also going parabolic.

After "parabolic" there is always a "bearabolic".

Didn't the bears go extinct in the Bitcoin universe? 2017 hasn't been a happy hunting ground for bears. At each record breaking price, certain bears would have gone bankrupt by being on the wrong end of the trade. Now, you would have hardly any left. And even those would expect the price to decrease by only a few thousand dollars.

If there's a price fall of a few per cent we immediately get nobody accounts filling the front page. They're out there. They're just waiting.

It's going to fascinating to see how bear psychology works this time. In 2014 you really could have convinced some people that Bitcoin was going to die.

These days a fall could be proper ugly, but it's ever so slightly hard to ignore the activity exploding around it. I'm sure they'll give it a try anyway.

Note - this apples to nutter bears, not proper ones.

A lot of them are on this forum as well - a lot of people will become bears once the price drops for more than a few months at a time.  Some people convince themselves that price drops over a day or two is all the bearish pressure that we're going to see, but most markets have bear markets lasting a long time eventually.

This forum is a bit of an echo chamber for bulls - I think that the tables will turn very dramatically alongside the markets.  Deep into a bear market bears will be prominent herew, and deep into this bull markets bulls are currently prominent.

Double top definitely broken and now we are at all time highs again at $17400... bears lose again.
Bulls get rich, bears get rich, pigs get slaughtered.  I haven't always been a bear - I've only been a bear since the price got irrationally high.

I expect January 2018 to be the beginning of a bear market. Nothing lasts forever, whatever goes up must come down. Even bitcoin isn't immune to these natural laws. It's just a matter of time.

Trend reversal confirmed. Watchout below.

[EDIT: Updated chart below thru to early December (BTC performance now +1700%):

It doesn't matter - Indonesians will still buy, hold and sell.

I'm rooting for Bitcoin Gold! Also mining it.
[SNIP]
...
Thus I predict a hard fall in relative terms for BCH
...

UPDATE:
[SNIP]
...

UPDATE:

as noted above 'combination' = BTG + litecoin + monero + vertcoin + groestlcoin
predicted to be become 5x BCH's market value

Predicting Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will be the worst and will fall in relative terms while everything else grows.

This week: Brazil and Canada

update live weekly p2p cash trades on LBC: https://coin.dance/volume/localbitcoins

Right now is your last chance to get out. Otherwise it will be too late.

Lol, the bear bulllish indicator is right once again:

You are already down big time since OP made the thread, and even lower if you sold at the dip instead of buying it as you should. There have been several all time highs since your bear market prediction. Admit it, you fucked up, better luck next year. If you keep calling for a bear market monthly you will eventually be right.

I wonder which whales have their coins loaded and ready to pull the trigger in case of a flash crash.

I'm not a bear or a bull as of right now which is why I exited my long position. Coins are extremely oversold now and the technicals seem to point to a crash soon, I don't know though.

Maybe, but I personally was expecting a price closer to $12k by this time of the month. It seems like $15k have for some reason a BTC magnet.

In my opinion BTC is just starting it's bigger downwards spiral / bear market. There is no quick fix to the unconfirmed transactions or fees so the situation will most likely keep turning worse at least until autumn 2018 (and that is a long time in cryptoworld).

Apart from the obvious thing that it's the same problem not two different ones, quick fixes always lead to bigger issues than can't be fixed.

so the situation will most likely keep turning worse at least until autumn 2018
What happens in autumn 2018?

Fortunately this is only your opinion.

I wonder which whales have their coins loaded and ready to pull the trigger in case of a flash crash.

You're not a real whale if you are so easily impressed by a dip and sell all your coins.
Whales doing this end up being cute harmless dolphins.

My guesstimate on when the LN might be ready enough to be utilised in commercial role. Segwit would need to be adopted on the first half as well by the big services.

The crash already happend, down from $20k to $11k.

This is THE bear market. World-wide sentiment is still very bullish so i believe this bear market will be short lived.

LOL this is the most bullish bear market ever Cheesy In all seriousness, we are still above the long trend, so no, I wouldn't call this a bear market... only those who bought at ATH during December may feel a bit anxious right now, but for the rest, BTC was still a good investment and they are probably happy with it.

I don't expect to see any company adopting LN until mid 2019. And SegWit still have to be integrated in Bitcoin-qt Sad
