Hi miners,

I once mined way back and there maybe some coin in my wallet. But all I have is wallet.dat.

Please advice me how to restore it.

The first person to assist me with easiest option will get small cut. Only if there are coins.
(Remember, you didn't ask for it, im giving it to you out of loyalty. So if there's no coins please don't accuse me of cheating.)

The only problem is Internet.
I have 100GB per month. But my family needs it. I can only afford to 30GB for restoring my wallet. But the Bitcoincore is like 150GB.

So if there's another option, that would be ideal.

Please let me know.
I will keep my promise.

Good day

Hey I think i might can help you.
Is  console available in your bitcoin core? If so, you can
1. Click help -> 'debug window' -> 'console' tab
2. If you wallet is encrypted, unlock it by typing  walletpassphrase "your wallet password" 600
3. Type 'dumpwallet privatekeys.txt ' without the single-quotes.

Wallet keys will then be dumped to privatekeys.txt in readable format.
Create a new wallet at site electrum.org in Electrum, and use sweep function to sweep the private keys.
Hope you can send me some reward maybe 1 btc thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Im running unencrypted wallet and received this message

Cannot open wallet dump file (code -8)

Please advice

Seems like it can't write to the folder.
Try adding a path to your output file:
dumpwallet C:\Users\username\Documents\Bitcoin\dumpwallet.txt
