if it can be chosen both then it is good cause for me also i see that two as a good project so better to choose this both we know that ETH has a long run here in crypto and most popular than ripple but , ripple have some advantages also for being as a good project in the future.

According to me both are good long term hodl coin. But bitcoin isn't helping at all. Ripple has gone more than 60% decline since i invested and I am holding eth from August and has gone more than 60% crunch. Ethereum and ripple both seem to have utility. My major bet has always been ripple. But ripple is open source and hence all those banks which are integrating ripple can build their own personal blockchain that can hurt the utility factor of ripple. Eth already experiencing the network clogging. Right now I am out of alts unless this bitcoin rally slows down.

Ethereum has been doing well lately and I think you will need to have a long term view if you really want to invest in it.  Ethereum will go above $4,000 before end of 2019 according to one of the latest speculation I read online and since this project market capitalization is high than that of ripple I will advise you to invest in it.  However one needs to do personal research on this before putting in your hard earned money as investing into cryptocurrency is very risky and it take time before you can actually make good and steady profits.

Hahaha i don't know if this is some kinda joke or .. I wouldn't compare them to each other, both at different levels. Ethereum is very reliable. But i also keep a good amount of Ripple too. Who knows what would be more profitable in the long run?

Both that coin is profitable, but for me i think i choose Eth as my altcoin investment, because now the value or price of Eth is rapidly siring up, so if you buy now and hold for a long term i'm sure that you can earn more profit. Anyways, for Ripple they startiing to increase his value and i think short term is the best for Ripple. I'm not an expert but that's my own opinion.

If I were you I would not try to choose the only one of them but invest in them both. Nobody knows what will be even tomorrow. So we need to reduce our risks with the diversifying.

It is always a very good thing to diversify. You cannot say the exact future of any coin and there is a possibility of two of them growing in the long run. I have always considered holding any coin with the possibility of a huge prospect in the long run.

It is an investment, some may turn out good, some may not, but it is worth the risk in the future as all the coins I am holding may turn out nice. Personally I would rather go for Ethereum first as it is at least been stable for a while now and it seems a coin to hold for long considering that it would always have a space in the crypto ecosystem in the long run.

XRP on the other hand is also a good coin. It is a banker's coin, centralized sort of and then it may end up getting adopted by bankers in the long run which could spike the value up in the future, so I may just hold some of it too.

I think that ethereum with the same ripple has a significant difference and also the advantages of each coin. for the short term ethereum is very good because ethereum has a good price and stable, but ripple will be very special if it is holding in the long term.
