The price of bitcoin is so high because the bitcoin become the number one cryptocurrency in all over the country and people know about bitcoin in all over the world  and more people attracted towards the bitcoin in daily life because by seeing the price of bitcoin very high rate and it countinously increasing rapidly . So people attract towards the bitcoin is more to earn the more money in less time which help them to become rich .

there are so many different reason why the price of bitcoin is so high . The first is the demand of bitcoin is countinously increase because of the price of bitcoin is countinously increasing so that the people are more attracted towards the bitcoin by this the number of user of bitcoin is also increase so that price of bitcoin was increasing countinously and reaches to very high price in 2018.

Bitcoin is a digital currency ,now it was accepted by Amazon also and investor of bitcoin also now a days increased so if buyer increased one product the rate also increased simultaneously.But I think 15k$ is not high value as compared to last week of 20k$,so you can inverse now to get some profit.

You did well. Ethereum is on its way down in general due to governments going nuts on ICO's, and let that be Ethereum's main source of growth. Unless they manage to market themselves well enough to realize growth without ICO's and stuff, I don't see much reason for Ethereum to maintain its current higher levels. Bitcoin on the other hand has so much more room for growth, that it only makes sense to have it be the major part of your crypto portfolio. It will be a bullish year again, and especially with more institutions finding their way into Bitcoin, and not to forget lightning network being a realistic option.
