no seriously, wtf is going on?

(S) 9 @ 0.36050000 BASIC-MINING
(S) 4 @ 0.38510000 COGNITIVE
(S) 14 @ 0.03860000 TAT.ASICMINER
(S) 25 @ 0.00421000 ACTIVEMINING
(S) 5 @ 3.80100000 ASICMINER-PT

Abandon all ships!

is it because bitcoin price is going up?

Because people are jumping on the Labcoin IPO hypetrain (selling existing assets to free up funds), hoping for a quick multiplication of the IPO price.

I do think that higher BTCUSD prices have something to do with it.

In positive news...AMC is holding .004. I'm fairly surprised

Edit: in other positive news, while all the lemmings are focused on trying to get into Labcoin IPO, we are presented with a pretty good buying opportunity in just about everything else

Somewhere between 6 and 8 hours from now, everyone will find out exactly how much of their Labcoin bid didn't go through; based on how things look now, I'm guessing that'll be like 75% of their labcoin offering.

Some might choose to use some of that money to buy labcoin at a premium, but the majority of that money will flow right back into the current underpriced stocks, pushing their value back up - with some remaining decrease.  If you don't have any coinage to spend, just don't even watch until tomorrow.  If you do, now's a great time to spend.

This is going to be hilarious once the 66% of the Labcoin IPO Money gets refunded. I don't think I'll be getting any sleep tonight.

Please keep in mind that I am currently trading/holding shares of ASIC Miner, ActiveMining, Rentalstarter, Labcoin and may be posting in my own interest. Always do your own research.

Just look at the sell offs going on all over BTC-TC (ASICMiner is selling for 3.7)... its a literal panic to get in the LabCoin door. I think you'll all have the right idea, once those coins are refunded everything will bounce back up.

Yah the tide's coming back in quickly, i'm already up 55% on the extra shares I picked up an hour ago, and this boost is just from people whose money didn't get transferred in quick enough for the IPO.  If it wasn't for the BTCGarden variable, it'd be easy to see us back at .0085 by this evening.

Am I missing something here?
They're issuing 2 million shares but there's only an order of 87,000 shares at the moment.

I don't understand what the hype is about.

I'm not sure either, it just wouldn't surprise me if some of speculators decide to throw some coins there after they get their Lab 'deposit' funds back.

I posted this in the other thread but people seem more concerned about whining about share tendering than actually discussing ActM:

Has anyone thought about how the recent rise in price to over $100/btc will affect paying the NRE? I think we will see positive news sooner than expected because Ken raised funds assuming ~$90/btc. Now it should be significantly easier to sell for that price or higher on Tradehill. He might even have $100-200k extra to speed up the expansion process further. The price is going to go through the roof!

That is a very good point! The extra money should easily cover the remaining expenses (if any still exist) for the Klondike boards and Avalon clones.

Depends how long it takes to convert all the money and get it into a US bank accounts (especially the latter). To do it at an acceptable rate is probably going to take a fair while. The downside of BTC at present.

Edit: But yeah, if the exchange rate holds up for a week or two that'd help a lot!
