I have this Black Arrow X-1 that I haven't used in a while.  Unfortunately, since Black Arrow's support link no longer works, it won't mine.  Does anyone know the secret sauce to getting these things mining after the demise of Black Arrow?  Or should I just recycle it and save the skull sweat for other projects?

Thanks in advance.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Sorry, can you clarify? I don't remember the device being dependent on any "phone home" pings to mine.

You need $0.08/kwh power to even break even. The thing is basically a doorstop.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
