Preliminary enquiries showed that the problem may be caused by the "AMM Fraud Event" of HitBTC, which happened a month ago.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Thursday, I deposited some SC(Siacoin) from other exchange platform to my "wallet address" of HitBTC. However, it hasn't arrived yet.
And I found that my SC wallet address was changed secretly while the transaction's ongoing. After I refresh the page, the wallet address changed again!
It means that I deposited my coin to an isolated address and I may lost my coin forever! It's caused by HitBTC secretly! I'm scammed by it!!!!

The transaction ID: 58391e66a6af9d6a3ebe367b5da0cdf3836f81895c1a068c7216e23efea88557
Old SC wallet address which I deposited my coin to: 1c75fd49c89ad9964c4383e73c1f239ca54a8fe3ed76511537533b70600f08364781c7c26ff8
Now my SC wallet address has been changed to: c91085412d56db556ed651020bb94fb9513fd5939dabdd70380c606053065a6d23680e906d47

I turned to HitBTC support for help, but I've not got any response. So I entered the forum of HitBTC: https://forum.hitbtc.com/

It's shocking that there are hundreds of topics about the same condition--deposit and withdrawal requests are delayed for several days or even weeks with no response:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2125/12-days-of-waiting
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2156/xrp-has-not-been-deposited-for-3weeks
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2123/xvg-withdraw-5-days-still-not-receive-my-xvg-please-help-me
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/1478/nem-deposit-delayed-finally-credited-now-delayed-withdrawal
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2023/nem-withdrawal-delayed-for-17-days
And above-mentioned topics are only a few of these topics.

Some people even said that their assets disappeared mysteriously, and may be stolen:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/1666/i-lost-my-hvn-after-move-it-to-main-account
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2086/stole-btc-from-my-main-account

And their assets were transferred out to a strange address, which may related with other platforms such as BITTREX:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/comment/6452

In these topics, HitBTC support appears for some time. However, it's useless, no problems have been solved.

It should be noted that this problem cannot be blamed on Ethereum network congestion these days because the same condition happens at other coins which are not based on or related with Ethereum, such as SC, XRP, XEM, XVG and even BTC.

Now I can suspect that HitBTC is defrauding users' assets! I think we should launch a lawsuit against HitBTC, and retrieve our money!
Please help to up this topic:

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I think we should launch a lawsuit against HitBTC, and retrieve our money!

in another post someone is complaining about hitbtc, the best thing to do in this situation is hire a lawyer immediately and then the lawyer will proceed to other steps, this is the only way you get what is your. I do not know who is the owner of hitbtc and I do not know where the hitbtc headquarters is, but I think it's possible to find out.

i confirmed, my withdraw BTX was stuck on Hitbtc 2 days ago.  Cry

with another exchanges i can withdraw very fast (need only 5 min).  Cry Cry

There are many people with problems and no one reports the case to the police.

Please read me!!!!!

You mst have been aware that hitbtc put up a fake amm on their site to swindle traders to buy unknownly, upon traders buying this coins, hitbtc came up with the news that  this coins are fake, even after collecting money for trading fees and taking btc/eth/usdt in exchange for this coins... On 9/12/2017 hitbtc wake up and took all this coins he sold to us, clear transactions history and withdraw this coins out of all those who bought this coins without official news or what so ever.. They in turn said that those who bought this token they sold are fraud and are illegal and as such they will not refund, ask yourself simple question you paid for a good from a shop the seller came back and forceful took the goods and refuse to refund, who is the fraud is it you that paid money for the goods or he who sold the fake goods, still came back took the goods and refused to give you your money back... How can someone who paid for a goods, he didn't break into the shop but paid for the good now become a fraud...

Hitbtc admitted that they made this mistake hence I have the prove of them admitting, if you actually admitted that you made a mistake, so who is then the fraud, is that not you, if you had made a mistake then refund to the buyers, that you goods and start over again and set things right ...hitbtc has said that they will not refund our money and we have promised to fight till the end, he who is already 5-0 at 89mins in football lose nothing so he is ready to attack...

Here is our campaign link help your follow traders as we are completely innocent, if this can happen to us it can happen to you, what this mean if you buy any token in hitbtc you are bound to buy hitbtc fake coin and no refund..

Let's us join hand and stop this bad act, in as much as you have not seen us, you are are follow trader we buy and sell to, don't let anyone exchange after collecting fees now claim, they will not pay back.

And above-mentioned topics are only a few of these topics.

Some people even said that their assets disappeared mysteriously, and may be stolen:

Please help to up this topic:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2210/lose-your-coin-token-somewhere-the-txid-hash-is-not-even-on-blockexplorer-or-etherscan-read-this

Lately relying on whatever exchange is completely difficult. Remember the Coingather affair that disappeared with the assets of all the clients and they never came back. Not long ago, a Bittrex-related scandal came out where personal customer data was leaked to anyone with internet access.

And now HitBtc that in addition to adopting suspicious policies, list fraudulent coins without any inspection and then remove leaving users in harm. It's a shame that we still have so many problems with these exchanges.

Crypto Crypto:
AMM ISSUE read carefully !
Ok people, those concerned with AMM issue read carefully. At the end of this message will be the link to cyber crimes report form of HONG KONG police. Now it's time to have balls and speak up. Fill the form very carefully and write only the truth. Three things that must remain the same :

- "occurence date and time" must be the moment HITBTC withdrew AMM token from your account.

-"details of the suspects or companies" must be written like this : Cryptocurrency exchange named HITBTC, supposedly operated by HIT Solution Limited, company located in New Territories in Hong Kong.

-"Other information" : Hundreds of people were robbed the same way. Please check support forum so you can get a grasp of the situation :
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2110/amm-issue-full-refund-requested

The other fields are up to you. But remember. No lies. No swearing. Be respectful and trustworthy

Finally, somebody is going to a good way, but that alone will not be enough, I still think that hiring a lawyer and reporting the case to the police is the best solution, the problems is, this will also take time once these guys are anonymous, not even physical office do not have, and it is unbelievable that an exchange that makes so much money can not have their own physical office or the reason why these exchange do not have physical office is because they simply do not want to take on responsibilities?

Now it's time to have balls and speak up.

They should have taken measures like this a long time ago, many people are in the same situation, in cases like this the union makes the gallows. People must unite and fight for the same cause.

Please read me!!!!!

If this story is true, it is near to unbelievable. However I would never trade on HitBTC. They are known to do shady business, havent you seen the "you got scammed by HitBTC" memes on telegram or anywhere else? Its like common knowledge that one should avoid HitBTC.

Really sad for your loss, I hope you will achieve something for the good of all traders.

Furthermore Im looking forward to the day when DEx's are going to put those shady centralized exchanges out of business for good.

HitBTC has got into red-line, no more transactions with them and hopefully, people be aware of this problem soon.
The problem just getting bigger as too many accusations and legit proofs, delayed deposit or delayed withdrawal.
Some people may get lucky to withdraw all of their assets out of this exchange, but not everyone will be able to do the same thing.
I would like to read some news regarding law enforcement in HongKong to solve this cyber crime acts.

A lot of exchanges allow you to change your deposit address and old addresses are still considered to be valid, so it's definitely quite weird that HitBTC would render the previous addresses just useless after a new one is generated, does not make sense at all.

They can still easily access the funds from that old address, since it is under their control still. It's not like they just all of a sudden lost private keys to that particular address after you generated a new deposit address.

If they indeed have not credited your account still, then i would definitely stay clear of these guys. It's not the first time they've got a complaint against them either.

Old SC wallet address which I deposited my coin to: 1c75fd49c89ad9964c4383e73c1f239ca54a8fe3ed76511537533b70600f08364781c7c26ff8
Now my SC wallet address has been changed to: c91085412d56db556ed651020bb94fb9513fd5939dabdd70380c606053065a6d23680e906d47

I turned to HitBTC support for help, but I've not got any response. So I entered the forum of HitBTC: https://forum.hitbtc.com/

It's shocking that there are hundreds of topics about the same condition--deposit and withdrawal requests are delayed for several days or even weeks with no response:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2125/12-days-of-waiting
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2156/xrp-has-not-been-deposited-for-3weeks
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2123/xvg-withdraw-5-days-still-not-receive-my-xvg-please-help-me
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/1478/nem-deposit-delayed-finally-credited-now-delayed-withdrawal
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2023/nem-withdrawal-delayed-for-17-days
And above-mentioned topics are only a few of these topics.

Some people even said that their assets disappeared mysteriously, and may be stolen:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/1666/i-lost-my-hvn-after-move-it-to-main-account
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2086/stole-btc-from-my-main-account

And their assets were transferred out to a strange address, which may related with other platforms such as BITTREX:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/comment/6452

In these topics, HitBTC support appears for some time. However, it's useless, no problems have been solved.

It should be noted that this problem cannot be blamed on Ethereum network congestion these days because the same condition happens at other coins which are not based on or related with Ethereum, such as SC, XRP, XEM, XVG and even BTC.

Now I can suspect that HitBTC is defrauding users' assets! I think we should launch a lawsuit against HitBTC, and retrieve our money!
Please help to up this topic:

To many bad allegation thrown at them and I don't know why people still go on that site, Hitbtc is not good exchange to trade on and plan to put some steps on them, And for issue of stolen balance then that's would be the worst story to be heard and that would be a good step out basis for the people who's still doing some trades there. HitBTC needed to get rid out of this business.

Coinbase is  trusted exchanges in US.  Why to go for HitBTC if that is not a trusted exchange for you?

I requested a Bitcoin withdrawal yesterday and it hasn't shown up yet. Kind of has me worried. I really have no choice but to use hitbtc because the coin I trade often is only on 2 exchanges and the first one blocked U.S.A users. It does seem like they may be stealing peoples funds unfortunately. However, this is the first time i've had an issue so far. We'll see what happens.

I have recently made successful withdrawal form hitbtc but after reading this I will try to maintain some distance with this exchanger.
I recently sold some CSNO tokens and bought ETC and made withdrawal, it hit my ETC wallet instantly.

However I am not being able to change my deposit address for anycoin there.

I have zero balance right now there and will try to not deposit anything there.

My withdrawal finally did come through today. Seems the site is just really slow due to ddos/not being able to handle all of the traffic. I imagine support staff is probably also super busy during this time. Hang in there. I think you all will get your funds.

hope like that, all transactions can finally be solved well.
but their support team does not seem to be providing answers to many of the questions,
making it confusing that the transactions are still unfinished.

of the two transactions that were stalled by then, I've received the fix for one transaction dated 12/21/2017 but for one other transaction I'm still waiting for it to be resolved by HitBtc.
it may take some time for refinement, I will wait well.
means until now has entered the 17th day.
