XDAG Community Developer Regular Meeting Minutes (24th)

 At 21:30 on the evening of May 27, 2023, the developers of the XDAG community held the 24th regular meeting, and the participants communicated about the recent development work of the community:

 Ⅰ. Work review
 1. Completed the Crowdfunding Task of the Exchange listing fee and proceed the Exchange pre-listing work;
 2. Successfully listed XDAG on UUBiter trading platform.

 Ⅱ. Short-term plans
 1. Sorted out the plan of increasing transfer fees and mining pool separation from nodes, and preliminarily expected to complete code development by the end of June;
 2. Fully promote the release of the XDAG- Pro wallet in the IOS app store.  In order to solve the difficulty of releasing wallets on IOS, the community will try to establish a legal entity to meet the requirements for IOS enterprise developer accounts.  The legal entity and accounts mentioned will be under the supervision and management of the community self-government team.

At 21:30 on the evening of July 1, 2023, the developers of the XDAG community held the 25th regular meeting, and the participants communicated about the recent development work of the community:

Ⅰ. Work Review
1. Successfully assist the new trading platform to complete the technical docking work;
2. Release XDAGj version 0.6.4 to solve and optimize the synchronization problem and efficiency of the main network nodes, and greatly reduce the synchronization time;
3. Start the XRC-20 and AMM protocol design work.

Ⅱ. Short-term plan
1. The code development of the XDAG node to increase the transfer fee has been completed, and the mining pool separation work has been started simultaneously. After the developer test is completed, the community public test is initially expected to be carried out in late July;
2. Start the new UI design and development of XDAG Pro PC version;

3. The version of the XDAG node that increases the transaction fee is scheduled to be released after XDAGj version 0.6.5. At present, the separation of the mining pool is progressing smoothly. After the new mining pool goes online, the original XDAG proxy (X2X Proxy) will be discarded, and the connection to the proxy is no longer required for mining.

 It's very pleased to inform the  community that after passing the community public beta, the XDAG V0.6.5 mainnet upgrade is ready, and the arrangements for the mainnet upgrade are as follows:

 After the mainnet is upgraded to version 0.6.5, the following impacts will occur:

1.Upgrade the synchronization method between nodes to optimize the synchronization time and data transmission volume;
2.Upgrade the data type of the balance and introduce the XAmount data type so that the minimum unit of the balance is 1 nano, that is, 1 XDAG = 10^9 nano;
3.Introduce MySQL database to store transaction history to enrich storage and query methods, and add RPC functions to make query transaction history more flexible and diverse.

 At 21:30 of September 30, 2023, XDAG community developers held the 28th regular meeting. Participants communicated on the recent development:

Ⅰ. Work review
1. A new enthusiast has taken the initiative to apply to develop the Chrome plug-in wallet, and has well communicated with the community. Crowdfunding will be launched in the near future to encourage developers to contribute to the community;
2. Reconstruct the XDAG network protocol to improve synchronization efficiency;
3. Complete the development of node transfer fees and main block donation code;
4. XDAG co-branded the Eastern Football Club successfully completed its first Douyin live broadcast game, with about 20,000 live fans on the stadium and about 3,000  online viewers on Douyin. The next live broadcast will be held on October 2.

Ⅱ. Recent plans
Continue the separation of node mining pools, improve the basic function code of the XDAG independent mining pool and the network communication between nodes and mining pools. It is expected to complete the internal beta version by the end of October;

A. XDAG-Pro wallet adjusts the network to TestNet
B. XDAG GoWallet old wallet changes the RPC address to:

Ⅲ Verification content:
1. Ordinary users can verify the transfer and mining functions. Each transfer is charged a fixed fee of 0.1 XDAG (wallet balance > 0.1) for the transfer amount;
2. The mining pool owner verifies the mining pool functions: miner connection, mining, hashrate estimation, cumulative reward calculation, distribution and other mining pool functions. The mining reward distribution method of the mining pool is changed to be distributed every 5 minutes, and the miner's cumulative reward will be transferred out after >3 XDAG.

Ⅱ 验证内容
1.自由搭建矿池(新增)。
社区成员可以通过github步骤自由搭建矿池。矿池搭建参考步骤:

2.普通用户验证转账及挖矿功能。每次笔转账收取 0.1 XDAG固定手续费(钱包余额＞0.1)转账金额；
3.矿池主验证矿池功能：矿工连接、挖矿、算力估算、累积奖励计算、发放等矿池等功能。矿池挖矿奖励分配方式改为每5分钟分配一次，矿工累积奖励＞3 XDAG后转出。
