This new GPU miner is killer, I am afraid that I burn GPUs down, hard to get temperature under control. 3 GPUs = 1430 Mh/s

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Nvidia gpu get high CPU usage, if use more than 2-3 cards the system will freezes.

First beta-version of GPU miner is released.
Link to download https://github.com/jonano614/DaggerGpuMiner/releases
Source codes https://github.com/jonano614/DaggerGpuMiner

GPU-miner is based on OpenCL. You need to have your account address and storage folder to use it. Most of modern video cards is applicable. Current implementation is not optimized, probably hashrate can be increased in about 80% further. My AMD Radeon R9 270x makes 240 MH/s now.
Also miner supports CPU-mining. But current implementation is slower than official wallet (v845+).
Currently only Windows is supported. Version for Linux is in development. If somebody wants to make version for Mac OS - you can write me.

How to use: unpack archive to a folder. Copy storage folder to the folder with miner. Create .bat file with necessary launch parameters. Use it.

Launch parameters:
1) GPU benchmark: DaggerGpuMiner.exe -G -M
2) GPU mining: DaggerGpuMiner.exe -G -a <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p <POOL_ADDRESS>
3) CPU mining: DaggerGpuMiner.exe -cpu -a <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p <POOL_ADDRESS> -t N     (N - is a number of threads)

Different features and optional parametes:
1) "-h" - show help
2) you can list all available devices using parameters "-list-devices -G"
3) by default GPU mining is performed only on the first OpenCL device. You can specify several devices using parameter "-opencl-devices 0 1 3". Use your device numbers instead of "0 1 3". Also use can use parameter "-d " there is count of used devices.

Also I recommend you to place "pause" command in the end of the .bat file.

If you have question, suggestion or you want to participate in develpment you can write me here in PM or on email jonano614@gmail.com.
Further closest plans:
1) get rid of storage folder
2) rewrite logging
3) static position for hash rate
4) optimization of OpenCL kernel

PS: if everything works fine you can support author: XDAG gKNRtSL1pUaTpzMuPMznKw49ILtP6qX3

What's storage folder? How to obtain it? Where to put exactely? Please help. Would like to mine this.

/edit Ok, I found it in wallet folder, is it just that it's needed? No .dat outside?

Which pools are available right now and when will you see first payment?

Thanks a lot. I found the payments. I got 150 coins since 6 hours ago. Single GPU mining. Not bad.

Is there anybody else who has a laptop with dedicated GPU?

Problem: DaggerGpuMiner.exe always uses the integrated HD4600 instead of the Geforce980M in my laptop.

I already set the 980M as standard in the nVidia settings but DaggerGpuMiner.exe still uses the HD4600 Angry

~~~<<<[[[ https://xdagpool.com ]]]>>>~~~
0.5% pool fee, 12% reward for connected miners, 7% reward for found block, 0.5% donation to community fund
Miners! We added detailed GPU instructions, check them out! ;-) When I say deatiled, I mean detailed. Anyone should be able to get their GPU miner up and running using our instructions. https://xdagpool.com/pages/setup/windows-gpu
Also nice copycat work from https://xdag.top. Even the home page flash message "New pool software was installed. HAPPY MINING! ;-)" was written by me few days ago and was copied Cheesy Our layout, wallet balance, everything, our CPU miner texts (which we have now updated), pool news at the bottom, simply a lot of stuff Cheesy
Design / texts aside, we are still the ONLY pool where you can register your miners and get miner down e-mail notifications, detailed balance and PAYOUTS that can be exported, detailed network, pool and user stats (graphs, earnings at our pool - we prefer to be transparent), leaderboard, anonymous profiles, not to mention high rewards and very low fees, so come check us out, spread the hash rate! ;-)
Regards,
kbs1 Smiley
I have been GPU mining for a few hours on pool: 213.168.251.23:13654  (1%-5%-10%; UK;
How do I see my balance?
When I used the GUI cpu wallet, the balance on the same account still shows 0.0000
Balance should be shown in wallet. There can be some reasons, why you didn't recieve any payments.
1) you use very old version of miner that didn't work proper. Last released version is 0.1.0
2) the pool can be almost dead. Try to change pool
3) something is wrong with parameters. If pool has interface where you can see some stats for your address, check unpaid shares count for your address after some minutes you started mining.
I mined for a while with a 1070, for a while it looked like it would produce 750 a day, but dropped so much that I stopped Smiley
I find it funny that the windows binary reports itself as "cheatcoin" to the firewall, even after so many attempts to rename it to dag.
