modified mine...."mineable" is enough...and I like advertising the name DAGGER...its catchy....btw, message mprep about getting rid of that 18 yr old poll

We would absolutely love to see dagger on  coinmarketcap, so it is easier for our investors to track the price, now that its on at least 1 exchange.

if you are talking about the most recent poll to discuss supply reduction, it received over 1000 votes.
However, the poll was not a final decision, it was the first step to gauge interest in the issue, from the community.
the final vote will be published in due course, with a new poll, which is run for a long period of time and shared so more people can participate.

1) As a poll, the team needs set a clear time frame. I never see any public poll has no due date means the team can determine when to terminate the poll at their best interests.
2) The team should respect the results of the public poll, even if the results could not be what the team expects.
3) We understand the poll may not be a final decision however if the team is trying to over ignore the voice of the community. The team will loose the trust of the community at all.

I agree. I can understand why the team does not expect to reduce the supply from 4 billions to 0.5 billions with 6 months halving cycle. It's too soon. However, 1 billion @ 1 year would be a good idea. There will definitely be a compromised reduction decision made between the team and everyone in the community. Again, team needs to consider the voice of the community. Without strong community, this coin is nothing especially for a non-ico, non-premining project.

You can mine it with a GPU (and CPU), which is the best part of it.
A lot of people are mining it, people who have deep pockets. (zing)

You can't really compare it to XRB/NANO, because they've been accumulated in different ways.

With XRB, you had people solving captchas, then selling the coin on exchanges.
Which probably was much easier to buy, since captcha solvers just dumped the coin when they'd get their payout.

With XDAG, you have people (miners) who spend electricity to obtain it.
This is a big factor.
Wealthy miners will try to cover their electricity costs and probably wait for x10-50 returns to start unloading their bags.

After all, crypto-currencies are becoming a thing, nowadays, so all we can do right now is speculate and hope for the best.

For everyone buying XDAG OTC, please be careful. There's a lot of people who will try to scam you, especially on telegram.
If you're using escrows on telegram, make sure you look into their username closely and don't get deceived.

What's all this talk about exchanges? How is it possible to get XDAG on an exchange, if there's no RPC?
Am I missing something?

I don't understand the point to add an ecologically unsustainable model of confirming transaction, like PoW, Tina technology like DAG, which in principle wouldn't need that.

You have to distribute it somehow, right?
PoW is the oldest distribution model in this case.

an interesting vid by andreas Antonopoulos about DAG...he dislikes it because of centralization due to lack of mining and decreased immutability due to the removal of POW...perhaps xdag is the best of both worlds

The team needs to make announcement to the community, no matter what the poll results are. Give the entire community an official feedback is a very basic respect to those participated the poll, isn't it? They are not ignoring the poll results, they are ignoring the basic respect it suppose to be given.
