How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.
Thanks!

Start with a money that doesn't affect you if you lose. An amount that could be risk with no regrets.
If you want to start now for day trading then you could start at least $100 or less.
It's up  to you what coins you buy and trade.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

I think for starters, they need enough capital, some ETH to invest in new Altcoins to accumulate experience and improve wallets. Once you have enough experience and capital, you can invest more and not have to think about the money you currently have.

Start with what you have and split your investment in to two or more coins. Have given list of altcoins for your reference. Research on these and decide on your own. However, bitcoin should be your first preference.

Altcoins potential list as per price

Below $1400 and above $1000
Ethereum or Dash

Below $450
Monero or Bitcoin Gold

Below $10
Steem or Komodo

Below $3
Ripple

Below $1
Cardano, Stellar and Dogecoin

If I'll choose, I'll go with coins below $1 but still a promising one and I also go with dogecoin and plr. Maybe now they're just like a little star but soon will outshine and moon will within our reach. Whatever the amount of your capital, small or big it should be use wisely.

0.02 btc is a very minimal amount and you must explore the number so that the results can be maximized. you do not have to use big capital and hastily get big profit money. the most important thing is your learning and your experience of starting trading.

Just start from amount that you can lose, not your initial saving, So you can know and assess whether to trade something.

Yes you are right 0.02 btc is very minimal because as you said the most important is my experience because without good experience how much the money be invested into trading altcoins will be gone, we can use large of money if we can get active profit from every condition of markets (up trend or down trend) we always get the profit. 0.02 BTC is best choice for the traders who doesn't have much experience in trading altcoins.

Crypto currency have grow too fast and make transfer fee grow too. With every beginer, they have to buy bitcoin or tether to start trading and it cost 15-25$ fee. With that huge fee, i suggest you should have 500$ to start in crypto currency.

Start with what is convenient for you. Well, what I can say is not to consider it as a gamble. Well, yes, whenever you invest, you risk some loss, but it's definitely not a gamble. Since you should always base your decisions on well-grounded information..

Depends on your goals, but at least you should start with $100-200 to make it worth your time, i started too small with $50, got several 2 even a 3x but my profits were so small, that it wasnt worth it, then one day i decided and i invested $300, got lucky with deeponion and neblio and my balance rigth now its about 1700, and it peaked last week about 2.2k, if i have kept with small change i would be about 400-500, not bad but nothing that could change your life.

I think a sufficient amount is 1000 dollars. If you start with a larger amount, it's only better. But there are people who start and with $ 50 and slowly add more.

There is no sense in first sums of money that you’ll invest if you are not going to earn from the very beginning. If you just want to study the cryptocurrency field than some dozens dollars would be enough.

Different amounts for everyone, if you can invest $ 500, then this is the amount you are going to use to start your trading career, but if you can use more money and you are confident in your abilities, then use more money, this will help you in term perspective.

As a newbie in the cryptocurrency world I would advise you to start low, as u are still new and without much experience. Don't invest an amount you are not willing to lose.

When you start investing, it depends on you on how much you start. How long have you known how to manage your money while trading the altcoin. There is no exact amount that you can start with investing, which, in your opinion, you will definitely get a profit.

Actually you dont need much, find some solid projects which have just hit exchange/exchanges and buy in . Depending on project, it is fair to wait x5 or more in few months or more.
