Have you finished learning all the ins and out of alternative currencies trading strategies, tested your ideas with demo trading. If you have, thn start with the amount you are comfortable to lose. And  trade small lots of your money to you become expert before starting with a bigger amount. I recommend $100.00 as a testing fund.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Start with something less like 200$, invest in good ICO and wait a bit. Of course, nothing is super profitable at once. But over time, you are lucky with a coin, and you will gain experience

I believe that there is not a certain amount with which you are guaranteed success, but before you start investing - you need to study the entire crypto-currency market, assess all the risks, etc.

I would suggest you to start up in a small amount first before you invest big amount. You must learn first the different tactics, do's and dont's for your money to multiply and not be wasted.

Start with what you can afford. No need to rush; set your goal for a year and a half or two. I start with $200 USD and added small amounts little by little. I’m quite satisfied with my gains currently. Best to think more about which projects are good rather than the dollar amount to invest.

If you just start, you need to start with a sum that you are not afraid to lose.

The amount you start trading alt coins with depends on your financial capability, but the only advice I will give you is not to put in what you can not afford to loose because in crypt world any thing can happen.

How much your starting capital would depend on how much you are willing to lose because as you have known in crypto trading the risk is great specially if you do not know what you are doing and if you are too greedy in you daily trade. Strategy and discipline along with knowing when to stop is the requirements in crypto trading. In that case you should learn how to trade and develop your own strategy.

This is true, don't put all egg in one basket, invest only part of your money and be sure that you have savings first because you don't know if your investment when it can gain profit.

I guess it will be up to you. If how much money you are willing to lose. In investing its always better to start small and play safe because its risky. But to give you a picture, a $100 dollar is enough to start investing.

I started to invest from 500$ and I increased my capital in several times in a short time. I think you can start at any amount.

It depends on your budget because any amount or any of desired to lose of your money it is okay here. In my starting here, I invest a small amount of money then it become big when the time comes. Patience is the best key if you want to invest in altcoins or bitcoin. You don’t need to rush to have a great money for the future.

I started has only $ 1000. It seemed to me that this is very small. But over time, I realized that you can earn even on small amounts.
It all depends on what you trade and how professional you are in this business.

you can start with bounty campaigns, as I did. And then the proceeds can already be invested in the projects you like. The main thing is not to risk the means that you are afraid of losing.
