Actually, it cannot be determined, no matter how much you have, but you must be able to adjust the budget that you have and use your personal funds (not from the loans). The ideal number to start around $ 50 - $ 150, is enough to start.

Look If this is your first time as a trader, make sure that you know the flow of market before you invest. There's no certain amount in trading so no need feel pressure. What ever amount you have is ok as long as you know when to hold and to sell them.

I think it all depends on how much you are not afraid to lose.  And I do not advise you to invest all your money.

I gave this advise to everyone who is new in crypto trading start from the small amount that you can lose. They said that if you trade with a big amount of money you could gain higher profit or loss. Still there is a great scope in cryptocurrency, you can make a lot even if you input a small amount.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

Crypto is available for everyone. In my mind cryptocurrencies could be earned without any investments. And for me it is clear that beginners should start their crypto activity from bounties and airdrops.

The more you invest, the more you will profit.  But I do not advise you to invest all your money.  This is a very bad idea.

Yes I agree with your idea that investing with a lot of money gains a lot of money. But beginners should trade crypto money with small capital. First, learn the crypto world and research. If you experience a loss of money, do not panic and continue trading.

There is no initial amount to trade. If you are new to trading. Invest the amount that is not a pity. That's all

I think first of all you should read a lot of information about trading, u should know about strategies and about crypto in general. Only after that think about investing and trading. But remember that it's so risky way.

Any amount is suitable for trading, but this should be the amount that you are ready to lose at all. I think that you can start with 300 - 500 dollars - this amount is sufficient for comfortable trading.

Investing and trading can be risky, so I would suggest you to invest that amount of which you can bear the risk to lose it. Don't invest all your savings into cryptocurrencies because it's a really volatile environment here. No one can tell you the ideal number to invest it ultimately depends upon you.

I think that the amount to start with should be considered to the yearly income, not to the minimum money needed for trading. Someone with a good income this money will be nothing and the amount won or lost will make no difference, from there will be not enough concentration and likely loses.

I think $10,000 is enough to make a lot of difference when it comes to volatility. A couple of hundred dollars every time the price spikes is enough to feed you for a week. So with that kind of investment, I'm pretty sure it will make a lot of difference when it comes to making money.

I think nothing is too small or too big for investment, it all depends on individual prospective investor, but i prefer that investment should be done moderately. Also one key investment strategy is diversification to enable spreading of investment risks.

5000$, because this amount at any emerging risks will always be able to play a plus. If the market goes down, you can protect yourself and go into dollars.
