If I have experienced a huge loss it would take time for me to recover from the psychology of loss. But after a time if I can make the money again I would definitively invest again.

Yeah, the loss on mental is really shocked and you have to spend much time on recovering or else you will be damaged.

Frankly speaking, I only use the money I can afford to lose in trading. Most likely, I will cut losses and move on. If I see a high chance that the investment will recover, then yes I will continue to invest. If not, I will stop trading and move on.
moving on is the best thing to do for cause we cant say on how does it may take you if you may say that you have to take this emotionally it may affect you on how you may trade for so better to more practical and just move on if you may experience the loss that anyone dont want to take it.

What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
I know trading is always unpredictable and risky. So I do trading with that amount which I can afford to lose.So I.do trades with small amount so that I can be strong mentally after lose.Again, losing is always painful, no matter how stronger you are.

After huge loss,I do take some break from trading.I go to a long tour or join some late night party. In this case my friends helped me a lot.

Anyway, any investment is always risky. And It does need some luck also to be  succeeded. We can't do whatever we like always. This is a truth and we have to consider this anyhow.

When I was a newbie in trading every time I have a hug loss I get very upset and just want to give up but then as the day goes by and as I learn how to trade I managed to overcome that. Now whenever I have failed trade I make it as a inspiration to do better again and of course in my next trade I make sure to make profit more than what I loss.

If my portfolio goes down i usually do nothing, im not selling, because i hold only coins with potential to grow.
If i do day trading and miss out a upward wave i go to another coin

Loss is part of life keep clam take a long breathe.Find out the reasons behind that.Make a diary write out your daily trades and find the mistakes and dnt repeat them.No one is perfect all of us do mistakes but learning is best thing to do after every loss rather than regret.

Sometimes I want to get angry, because of my huge loss. However, I again think that our sustenance is regulated by the Almighty. So, that's where I found the calm even though I loss.

Keep going since losses are part of trading and as long as you don't give up and don't repeat the same mistakes, you will eventually find your style that's efficient in trading.

If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
Disappointment is what I will feel after a huge loss because losing lots of money is not an easy thing to accept. To be honest, I never tried to lose a big amount of money before but my friend did because he deals with trading process. Since he is a first timer, he never stops on dealing with this process instead he keep on understanding and studying how the market goes. He explained and shared to me on how to handle this kind of pressure because for him, happiness is what you need to look for and not to the money.
I guess we are talking about losses in digital world or losses related to money, I did not get why you feel like losing your kids. This is quite weird and even if you have lost them, may god help your to get them back. This is nice that after every mistake you try to analyze it and try not to repeat it ever in life. This is the only way you keep learning in life. If you don’t analyses your mistakes and admit them, you won’t succeed in life.

The time you make a loss is not the best time to take another try because emotion will definitely set in and if care is not taken, you might end up in another string of losses.
What i will recommend is for you to take a deep breadth, stay away. Restrategize and then try again later.
Hopefully with a better strategy. Always learn from your past experiences.

Personally I lost most of what I had invested during the dao hack . I responded pretty poorly by feeling very bad about it, since i was using margin longs. Also because that ether now would have been worth a lot Smiley

I did not get back into crypto until end of November cause I just felt so turned off by the whole thing cause I got my fingers burned by the ether/dao.

But i have learned from that experience, yes I did miss out on getting back in on investing from mid 2016, but I am now just looking at interesting coins, looking to hold for the long term until targets are hit, and avoiding day trading and margins completely.

So all in all, best you can do is see it as a mistake, learn from it, and adjust your investing strategy to avoid future losses.

Also I think most mainstream investors are not used to the high volatility of crypto, as long as you are not margin trading there is no harm in holding onto the coin, it might just go back up a day, or week later. You only make a loss if you sell.

Also try to avoid chasing coins, most of the time you will just catch the peak and end up putting yourself in a position if you sell at a loss or baghold. Try to research projects you like and hold.

Good mentality which these loss are just normal here on trading world because we do know that market is really very unpredictable anytime which we dont even know on where it would go this is why we are really prone to commit mistakes but it doesnt mean that we would lose hope and stop once we do commit loss.I know its hard  because emotions would really set in but these things are just temporary since we can able to avoid or lessen it next time as long we do make learnings on those mistakes.

I took a huge loss and went into debt when trading hurricane stocks back when ECCI and BUGS was popular. It took me more then 10 years to get out of debt, but it never stopped me from investing again. Lesson learned, don't fall in love with a stock/coin and never go all in on a single ticker no matter how sure you are about the outcome.

All I know is, the alt 2018 will be the year of the alt coin boom. Normally, I only day trade, but there are 5 alts that i'm staying in for the long haul. This will be an amazing year cryptos. Good luck to all.

I will cry loudly....haha. just kidding... I will have to find out my mistakes and the way to correct it in the next time. Learning from mistake is the most important lesson you have to study when trading
