From the same damned article you quote:

Quote
Having said this, the two companies are indeed collaborating on a series of technology innovation exercises with IOTA’s Tangle network, albeit without any signed agreements.

“We have never mentioned that any of the companies which are participating in the marketplace are our ‘partners,'” co-founder Dominik Schiener told TNW over email. “We call them participants.”

Microsoft is finger waving and saying no one is a partner, they are all 'participants'.

Why does everyone get so hot and bothered over MS? Fujitsu and Bosch are comparable in size and are much more involved.

FUD machine is in overdrive and getting sloppy, but I guess desperate times... Also, here's David's response to the original article (that was conveniently updated): https://twitter.com/DavidSonstebo/status/940631227979194368

I think you should do what you are comfortable with--no one can make guarantees, but if Iota works as it should--yes, I believe it will go up.

Well that's a bummer that is a pure FUD blown up and that could be do a huge negative impact on IOTA anyways teaming up with one of the most tech giants in computer industry will be a good for IOTA's future and for it's holders so, when the news about teaming with MS many believe and even the mainstream news websites like CNBC posted it.oh well, it's time to sell my IOTA before it's too late.

why should IOTA be any different than other altcoins that spread the same lie? for example ethereum lied about the same thing too. they said Microsoft is a partner where it was similar to IOTA only a participant and had no affiliation ever. they just observed the technology to probably use it to their own advantage since it is open source.

it is all about how you hype the altcoin, and all of them are using the same lying techniques to create fake hype to pump their project.

Buying the dip...

There are many altcoins developers claiming they are teaming up with tech giants like Microsoft, even Ethereum and Ripple and other altcoins said they were teaming up before but later they denied that statement. So this could happen to IOTA also just to hype the market but later end up of losing their credibility. Anyway i hope IOTA will still reach as high as 10 USD before year end.

IOTA seems not good anymore because of the non Microsoft contract.
There has been a lot of posts regarding fujitsu in the past
but with most things in IOTA since they don't have a working product for commerce... everything is just cooperation. And that's big problem

there were few altcoins that had announced cooperation with MS? But could that be fake news?

Did you seriously cut my post down to manipulate the context? That's pretty low even for a noob.

They don't care--they just want to fud to drive the price down. Whether it's to buy or to protect an investment is anyone's guess. I just post the facts and move along.

Well, I expected something like that but I've noticed that they are a serious company and getting a formal one won't be a issue for them. Plus, I'm sure that every large company is looking for crypto entrance right now.
Don't know if this is FUD for IOTA or not.
